They're gonna clean house. Hope he makes it.

I had a friend that played for the Saints, he would talk to me about getting paid and a bunch of other stuff that was eye opening

I had BC +2.5 and BC to win outright on the money line. Cha-ching!

Rutgers is up 9-7, on the Ohio State 15 yard line late 3rd quarter. If he doesn't throw the pick six (and all they do is kick a field goal), Rutgers wins that game. I believe that.

So much for the #1 but it was NOT to be. Ohio State escapes.

Okay so if
  • BC wins out
  • UNC wins out
  • and Louisville loses to either UVa or Miami
then BC plays F$U for the ACC championship. How? Simple.

Under my above scenario, there are tied records for TOP ACC regular season play for three schools and head-to-head does not break the tie for ACC Championship play (ie, BC is NOT instantly booted from consideration because they lost to Louisville but didn't play UNC.) And why is that? Well here are the rules.

http://theacc.com/documents/2023/5/17/A ... POLICY.pdf
ACC wrote:Three (or More) Team Tie
Three team (or more) tiebreaker procedure will first be used to identify one Championship Game
representative. Once that team is determined, the tiebreaker procedures restart for the remaining
tied teams.
1. Combined head-to-head win-percentage among the tied teams if all tied teams are common
opponents.
2. If all the tied teams are not common opponents, the tied team that defeated each of the other
tied teams.
3. Win-percentage versus all common opponents.
4. Win-percentage versus common opponents based upon their order of finish (overall
conference win-percentage, with ties broken) and proceeding through other common
opponents based upon their order of finish.
5. Combined win-percentage of conference opponents.
6. The tied team with the highest ranking by the Team Rating Score metric provided by
SportSource Analytics following the conclusion of regular season games.
7. The representative shall be chosen by a draw as administered by the Commissioner or
Commissioner’s designee.
Okay so, head to head does not apply because UNC never plays Louisville. So Louisville spanking BC is meaningless because they didn't play the Tar Heels. First two tie breakers do not apply. So we drop to tie breaker 3. Who are the common opponents for BC, Louisville, and UNC?

GT
UVa
Pitt
Miami

BC would be the only school to defeat all 4. Okay, well.... shit. That is serious rules lawyering but whatever. That is a still a whole lot to happen. But what is super crazy is that if BC had lost to UNC and Louisville (and not FSU) and finished 6-2 in ACC play, They would STILL get the invite to play FSU a second time in the championship because UNC and Louisville never played each other.

Jones may have a torn ACL. Probably the absolute best case scenario to get the rebuild started if he does. Why Barkley is still on the team is a mystery to me.

It won’t end this way becaus they’ll start eliminating each other here soon, but makes for good conversation.

All 6-3s are NOT the same.

If you go 6-3, and you beat 3 nationally ranked teams in a row, then you become ranked for the first time in over ten years.

However, if you are 6-3, and you really haven't beaten anyone, then you don't even make the "other receiving votes" category. That said, if BC beats vpi, I think they may get to #25 in the country (deserving or not.)
