Probably, eCat. I'll be interested in what Auburn pays him.

Meanwhile in College Station, things are looking up as third year head coach Billy Kennedy prepares to take his Fightin' Texas Aggie basketball squad into battle in the prestigious CBI, proving that Aggie basketball is #OnOurWayUp!

I would have done almost anything to get him to replace Donahue.

If you had offered to kill yourself, I'm sure it would've gotten done...

Yeah, hopefully like Kentucky after Calipari bolts.

AU giving Pearl $2 million/year.

except that it worked. The purpose of Coach's K's rant was to get NC State in the field. And they made the field against many people's projections. Too bad August died. He would be somewhat conflicted at this point.

Do the brackets need to be filled out before the stupid play in games?

Enjoyed the 30 for 30 on the Big East the other night. In the 80's you took for granted the lineup of coaches they had.

Pitino
Thompson
Boeheim
Carneseca
Massimino
Carlessimo
Calhoun

From Pat Forde's best/worst case scenario for Pitt:

"Worst Case: This is Jamie Dixon, and this is the NCAA tournament. Those two things go together like Bruce Pearl and backyard barbecues – it’s bound to end badly."

From Forde's best case scenario for Syracuse:

"Syracuse handles no-Embiid Kansas in the Sweet 16 and beats Florida on a Tyler Ennis teardrop at the buzzer. Back in the Final Four for the second straight year, C.J. Fair says he’ll take it from there, lighting up Michigan State. The title game is Duke-Syracuse III – Winner Take All. Fair’s winning basket is not waved off, as a Duke flop results in a no-call by Tony Greene. Jim Boeheim does not feel compelled to rush the court. In fact, he’s so pleased that his smirk gives way to a smile for upwards of 30 seconds. Ennis decides to stay in school."

Worst case scenario for Cuse:

" With the guards not hitting shots, Western Michigan focuses on frustrating Fair and blocking out. The plan works, and the Orange complete the season-end swoon with an ignominious defeat in the round of 64. Boeheim caps off the debacle with his second career ejection – and second in the last month. After 25-0 start, ‘Cuse loses six of last eight. Ennis goes pro. Boeheim retires. The snow piles are still on the ground in Syracuse."
