Damn, UF misses two FT's to allow UK a chance to win it. Biggest win of the year for UK if they can pull it off, and not a bad way to roll into the tourny...

Oh well, so much for that...

I was camping this weekend so I got to listen to the games on a little AM radio

I did catch the end of the game. I feel better about UK right now - and to be honest I can see a silver lining to them not winning - these youngs guys have to understand how hard its going to be to - that a good veteran team isn't going to lay down - they had the win within their reach.

I hope that drives them in the tourney

There's got to be 10 teams that have a legit shot to win it all this year. Maybe more...

yea, I'd say there is more than 10.

Looks like UK has a shot at proving whether Wichita St is for real or not.

I'd be pissed if I was Wichita St right now...

Not happy with 6th seed but UNC bracket is one of the easiest they have ever had, Iowas St, Nova, none of those teams scare me. Though UNC could lose to Providence as well.

MSU scare me but UVA does not,

If UNC beat Providence they will make great 8.

North Carolina makes a habit of always getting the easiest bracket and/or playing their first and second round games within 50 miles of Chapel Hill. This year is no different. They must have alums on the selection committee.

I don't see how you can complain. The one thing this year's UK team needs in this tourny is motivation, and playing the 1 seed in the second round and then, potentially, Louisville, in the Sweet 16 takes care of that...

if we can get past Kansas St, then I like playing Wichita St in St. Louis.

But Louisville is out there - angry and ready to prove they aren't a 4 seed.

If Wichita St gets to the final four with the murderers row they face, more power to them.

Last few years they have had tough draws, but this is easy none of the teams they play any D.

I can't believe the cocksuckers running our athletic department are actually going to shovel us bullshit by paying the entry fee to the CBI and then expect us all to think that we're moving the right direction like we're idiots or something.

I just read Indiana turned down the CBI

"We are Indiana, we do not play in the CBI" - quote from their AD.

I'm sure its lost on IU fans but the reason they didn't get into the NIT is their poor out of conference schedule. And who did they *not* want to play on a neutral site again this year?

oh well......

YES!

After careful examination of the bracket, one thing is absolutely clear: the bracket builders HATE Wichita State. I'm looking at that midwest bracket, that fucker is an impossible bracket.

SMU should win the NIT pretty easily...
