I would like for NC Legislature to strip our city govt of its energy company so I won't have any more $500-600 bills

What is a great urgency with regards to anything at he state level?
Doing something to make my health insurance bill go down or at least stabilize. It's up 100% in over the past few years. I guess they trying to get me back for not having any until I was like 45...

I am glad that HB2 also screwed everyone by doing away with state level wrongful termination suits that emanate from violation of public policy. You could file federally, but the timelines are so strict (and largely unknown) along with all of the normal hurdles that federal court provides...

Congrats to the NCGOP for screwing middle class folks once again. If you fucktards would stick to economic policies, respect the 4th-8th Amendments, and avoid the social bullshit, you would stay in power for a long fucking time. However, you dumbfucks can't help but fuck it up.

I liked the old GOP that simply pretended to care about social policy and just wanted to grow business/capitalism (even though I was not in favor of every measure). Now, the chickens keep showing up and looking to roost in the House.

If the 3 NC liberals on here are pissed, then the NC legislature is doing a great job,

The majority of NC conservatives are happy with this HB2 state law?

An Elon College poll shows that 51 percent of NC Republicans support a business’ right to deny service to customers based on religious objections.

11 of the 36 Democrats voted for the bill as well. I think the vast majority of the citizenry were concerned about the bathroom situation and nothing else. If the city of Charlotte had passed the LGBT rights with an exception on bathroom usage then there wouldn't have been this uproar that would cause the state to action. But since there was, the state GOP used it to pass other things. Most conservatives are ok with the overreach as long as it keeps the transgender women out of the women's bathroom.

Just how many uber religious business owners are really out there?

I can only speak for us, but we are always concerned when the time came when we had a transgender come work with us. We would not discriminate in hiring him, but weren't sure how to handle a bathroom situation when most likely 50% of the 60 women in our office would not appreciate him/her using the bathroom. We are not an uber conservative group of owners, but we didn't want to have to deal with the issue.

Just tell those bitches there's a trannie who's going to be using the women's bathroom. There are stalls in there for christ's sake. The fact that you can't make your employees fall in line on this "issue" (as you call it) speaks to your weakness as an owner and a leader of (wo)men. You might as well be a trannie yourself, your balls are tucked firmly next to your asshole when it comes to leadership...

FWIW, I use the women's bathroom all the time at bars and such if the men's is occupied. I would use more caution if it was a multi-stall deal, but in that case, there would probably be an available stall in the men's bathroom anyway. What the fuck difference does it make who uses which bathroom?

If that's the case then why is it such a big deal for the trannie?

Do you think it's possible for a person to identify as a different gender than whatever genitals he or she has? If so, can't you understand why a person who identifies as a woman would prefer to use a women's bathroom? If not, what do you think is happening with these people? Is this just a long con so a guy can get into a ladies room and see what's going on in there?

"Is this just a long con so a guy can get into a ladies room and see what's going on in there?"

my guess is there will be just as many guys trying to get in as there are true trnasvestites in north Carolina going in

I cant imagine there would be more 10 transvestites total in Carolina --and theres 10 scheming dudes trying to angle there way into the that bathroom
also

Yeah, I think in their mind its possible, but I am arguing the accommodating the wishes of the few against the safety concerns of more than a few.

Don't most people in North Carolina use the bathroom outside? What's the big deal?
