I think we've had this discussion already, but it bears revisiting: Which is wilder, hog wild or buck wild?

I think buck wild implies a sexuality that hog wild does not.

Hog wild = drunk just causing general ruckus
Buck wild = drunk banging anything with a pulse
Now the real question is what is the difference between a Hoot-n-nanny and Shendig?

That one is outside my wheelhouse.
And yes, I meant buck wild.

[quote="hedge"]"obama pissed off a lot of southern virginia when he made his battle ship comments"
What comment? That we now have things called aircraft carriers?
nah. romney was making the point obama is cutting navy ships from 350 or so in the navy down to 270 or something like that. course thats big bisiness in souther virginia norfolk etc and liable to cost obama a lot of votes down there

I wonder how much it costs to build one of those 270 ships and how many people are employed to build them (including all systems and peripherals) as compared to one of the 350 ships from 1917 that Mitt was talking about...

The Japanese probably get a larger percentage than they did in 1917...

Joe Scarborough will have to grow a moustache if PBO wins Florida.

I was fairly close although I realize I was just off with the popular vote (looks like Romney will win by a small amount)

Mourdoch loses in Indiana to Donnelly. Suck it Tea Party and GOP Primary voters who put a bullet in Dick Lugar because he dared agree with Obama on something...anything. America may start working again. My hope is strong.

California will push PBO ahead in popular vote.

The only state I'll be wrong about appears to be Florida going for President Obama

yeah, that surprised me a bit. thought the old folks there would go for the Mittster.
NC going back red was not a surprise but my county was bluer than in '08.

For the first time since reconstruction, Republicans control the governor's mansion, the legislature (both houses) and the North Carolina Supreme Court (non-partisan, but it is a 5-4 Republican/Democrat split). For the first time ever, Republicans have control of the local board of county commissioners.
Fuck almighty. It's like I am back in South Carolina.

Good work indeed. Still, DS's post is troubling. It's nice to have the big prize, but look at what we're left with on the "local" level. Likewise, what's up with states that gave their electoral votes to Obama but also voted for a repub senator? Like my grandmaw used to say: That don't make good sense...

Missed a lot of the drama last night, if there was any. Left Charlotte at 8 pm got to my hotel room in DC at 11 and election was over. Florida was the shocker. The pollsters messed up that one, but was within the margin of error on most everything else.
Good night for my business. I suspect I will be quite busy the next 4 years.
Great night for NC. The most important race in the state was the supreme court Newby win. Great for business prospects here.
