His first year for Hendrick was great, but everyone forgets that.

Earnhardt was in 4th going into the Chase in 2008, and would have finished 6th under the classic pre-chase points system. A pretty consistent, good year. Better than he's run so far this year.

well after 2 games in the preseason I think we can say cleveland and washington surprise a lot of people and houston could be the breakout team this year.

Jets getting plaxico helps them immensely

Cincy and dalton are in a shitload of trouble

Indy without manning is in a shitload of trouble

minnesota made a good mmove getting mcnabb seattle not so much

tennesee better get johnson in quick

I've been pretty pleased with McElroy's play for the Jets. He's looking like a solid #2 guy.

I think miami will be .500 as usual

cincy will win the luck derby.

giants lost another starting DB last night to an ACL--that's 3 DB's gone for them. Still smoked the bears.

Polian from the colts tweeted he was lost in hattiesberg yesterday--started an internet onslaught of farve to the colts rumors--funny shit.

Except the Bengals already have Dalton, so there is a 100% chance they will screw up the Luck pick.

Oh yeah, Irsay is hands down the best owner in the league AND his twitter stuff is off the chart. That and just at random times of the day he will spout out trivia, contests, whatever for cash/jewlery/colts stuff. I think he might be a little bat shit crazy, but as long as I don't have to deal with a Snyder or Brown, good to go then.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Terrelle Pryor's agent says the Oakland Raiders' new quarterback will not appeal the five-game suspension handed down by the NFL last week.

Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN's Colleen Dominguez on Tuesday that despite conflicting comments from Pryor and his attorney over the past week, there will be no appeal.

Holdout running back Chris Johnson wrote on his Twitter page Tuesday that he will fly to Nashville to discuss his contract demands with Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt in a meeting scheduled for Wednesday.

"Flying out to Nashville tonight to meet with Joel and the GM in the morning to see which way were going. Could get better or worst," Johnson wrote. The "Joel" he referred to is his agent, Joel Segal. Johnson has spent his holdout primarily in his hometown of Orlando, Fla.

In less than 24 hours, the New York Giants lost their most productive cornerback and leading tackler, an emerging backup cornerback and a promising second-round pick.

Cornerbacks Terrell Thomas and Brian Witherspoon both suffered season-ending torn ACL injuries and coach Tom Coughlin revealed that defensive tackle Marvin Austin will need season-ending surgery to repair his left pectoral muscle, which was injured during the Giants' 41-13 victory over the Chicago Bears on Monday.
