Sometime in the next week or so, I'll set up a link to a paypal account that anyone who wants to donate to help with the cost can go ahead and do that. I may also keep a thread with a list of costs and donations so everyone can see where we are. Right now, I spent $100 bucks or so for the hosting fees and services for our web host, that covers us til next March.

I'm going to donate $50 in the name of DS.

I think its cool we are hosting other sites - I'm not as familiar with the other Worldcrossing forums as you guys are but I think its advantageous for us to have them here doing their own thing - heck, they might even kick in on the cost.

For $100 a year, thats pretty much nothing. I'm down for $20 as long as this place is viable.

I'm skeptical about how many will show up. I thought about offering a big politics forum, but I think the general consensus among that entire group is that we are a bunch of asshats, not that their opinion is generally a bad thing...just saying.

The registration process is really easy, all you need to do is enter your name, address, SS#, driver's licence #, ATM card and PIN# (with security code!) a copy of the deed to your home, workplace info and name/# of your boss, and the original copy of your birth certificate (original, not a copy--important!).

You also have to agree to wear a transponder, which he will mail to your home or office.

Don't worry about your IP address-he can find that on his own.
