RE: multiple screens

My company just bought me dual monitors for my office a couple months ago, and it amazes me how much quicker that can make certain tasks. I was thinking it would mostly just be an aesthetic upgrade.

The other hallmark of those guys is they love multiple screens, the more the better (check out the screen modules link on that site, it's a big item for them). Logan is somewhat in that camp, but to his credit, he usually builds his own stuff and I don't think he's too impressed with the voltage shit, he just goes with good standard compnents..
Indeed, he had a mini ground control style setup, IIRC. Is he still in the Philippines?

Yep, and I'm sure he's got the monitors module up and running over there, too...

Creepy men express their ardor in creepy ways.

Feel free to admire me as much as you like. Just don't come within a hundred miles of me.

You really are a dim bulb, aren't you? I said nothing about you, much less about admiring you. Where are you getting this shit from? I mean, besides your massive ego?

Why do you suppose "creepy men" was a reference to you?

"Why do you suppose "creepy men" was a reference to you?"

Maybe b/c it was the next post after a post by me, directed at you, and nobody else had posted anything that could remotely be construed as referring to you. Indeed, nobody had posted before that in several hours. Or perhaps you're in the habit of responding to random posts that were posted days before, without providing any reference as to whom you are responding...

Yes, he'd like to murder them. By "them", of course, I mean you...

Actually I wouldn't be against going with a PC on my next computer. the MacBook I have now is 7 years old but I'm too broke to buy a new one so if this one burns out, all I will probably be able to afford is a PC.

But yeah, laptops are the way to go. you can just hook them up to a monitor or your HDTV if you need a bigger screen

I will probably get an iPad or equivalent to replace my current MacBook. I just use this for very basic stuff (internet, music, etc), and Id prefer a much lighter product and something that doesnt generate as much heat.
