Roy insists on playing James who is nothing but a negative he turns it over and then commits a down foul.
Now Va tech is back in the game down 3.

tie game Britt gambles again I am not sure how he keeps winning team defensive player when he gambles all the time doubling when he does not have to and leading to open threes. ANd he picks up two to three hand check fouls a game.

.....listening to the post game call-in show with Kenny Walker.. Brutal. Kentucky has only one offensive option. Dribble drive in the lane, throw up any kind of shot possible and hope someone gets the rebound and scores. That Harrison kid is a master of this. This team is history, folks.

I have come to believe that as absurd as it sounds, this year is actually a rebuilding year where Cal has to stock the team with veterans.
Randle is gone, Young is probably gone although god knows why with his defense and shooting %, and WCS can make a case, although there are probably a 6 centers with better overall season stats.
Last year was a result of a team being gutted the year before, and the media and fans refused to believe that a team full of freshmen OADs led by a subpar PG couldn't be contenders.
This year we have a boatload of talent, but out PG is horrible - and I'm not using hyperbole. Tonight he decided that an offensive rebound was a best option for us to score in the final 3 minutes of the game and kept us from tying or taking the lead at critical times in the game.
That is streetball shit.

Wow! I figured the preseason hype on UK's freshmen was a lot of hype but I didn't think they'd be this bad.
I think Calipari proved that his system works but that '12 team had the maturity to play unselfishly (and had a great center) and that's extremely rare for rookies. He should have paid more attention to the people he was recruiting this year and not just the players he recruited this year.
He will have UK as a title contender every year as long as he's there but winning it all with OADs is not going to happen a lot more times than it happens. On the other hand, that's true for any program.

I hope all Wildcat fans noticed how hard the team played and actually ran 'plays' for Robic after Calipari was tossed. Cut a 16 point lead to 1. All that screaming and jumping around with arms flailing like an Orangutang on crack that Calipari does on the sidelines isn't working. He needs to sit down and be quiet and let them play. Taking a lot of heat on the talk shows about his sideline behavior.

I noticed they ran plays after a set timeout and robic used all his timeouts trying to get them to run set plays.

it is impossible for a freshman (and Kentucky starts 5 true freshman) to lead a college basketball team.
