Yeah. Great tune.
Good selections by both aTm and Augie.
I'm listening to Melody Gardot now. Love her. One of only a handful that sound as good live as on their CDs.

I think we've all lived that song.

It gave me hope that it could possibly be limited to one day...

Yep.
I anticipate I will be living it one day early tomorrow morning.

The MIF's youngest is into Lana Del Rey. She has somewhat of an Amy Winehouse vibe (though not nearly the voice) with a good dose of Leonard Cohen thrown in. Kinda retro in a Quentin Tarantino sorta way. Probably a bit over-stylized for some, but I kinda like her...

Funny thing, we are in the midst of an ice storm right now (I barely got home from work), gonna be real cold tonight and tomorrow is going to be totally housebound for everybody, so I came home with the definite intention to get shitfaced tonight. Can't recall the last time I really felt the positive desire to do that (not to say that it hasn't happened, but not 100% intentionally), but here I sit sober as a judge. Well, it's only 7, the night is young. Maybe I'm subconsciously pacing myself...

I like Melody Gardot (good Philly girl), she tries to extend herself musically...although sometimes it causes unintended missteps like her song "Mira."

She doesn't do much for me. As a side note, she's filthy rich. Her father is some finance exec...I forgot which firm, though. I don't feel much emotion in her songs, when I hear her sing it. Amy was a different story. Lana can't even touch her heroin needle.

She doesn't do much for me, either, but as a mainly boardroom creation, she is worlds better than, say, Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift (etc)...

Just drove home from Raleigh with the MIF and the young un, the latter of whom was in charge of the iPod. She played some Lana Del Rey, I was lukewarm on her but now I think she's pretty good. Pretty contrived, but so it is with all art to a certain degree. Then she put on a song by one Mac Miller (featuring Juicy J) by the name of "Lucky Ass Bitch". That was interesting...
