Who is Arkansas' cross divisional opponent? South Carolina?

Academic smack talk cheat sheet...

ACC
Duke-10
Virginia-25
Wake Forest-25
North Carolina-29
Boston College-31
Georgia Tech-36
Miami-38
Maryland-55
Clemson-68
Virginia Tech-71
Florida State-101
NC State-101

B1G
Northwestern-12
Michigan-28
Wisconsin-42
Penn State-45
Illinois-45
Ohio State-55
Purdue-62
Minnesota-68
Michigan State-71
Iowa-71
Indiana-75
Nebraska-101

Big 12
Texas-45
Texas A&M-48
Baylor-75
Missouri-90
Iowa State-97
Kansas-101
Oklahoma-101
Oklahoma State-132
Kansas State-143
Texas Tech-160

Big East
Connecticut-58
Pittsburgh-58
Syracuse-62
Rutgers-68
Cincinnati-143
Louisville-164
West Virginia-164
South Florida-181

Pac 12
Stanford-5
California-21
USC-23
UCLA-25
Washington-42
Colorado-94
Oregon-101
Washington State-115
Arizona-124
Utah-124
Arizona State-132
Oregon State-138

SEC
Vanderbilt-17

Looks like the ACC could take away the top half of the Big East. The remaining teams intheBig East can bring in Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State, and Baylor and form one "special" conference.

It would be a good basketball conference. Throw in some from the TCU, Boise State, BYU poo poo platter and it could be a passable football conference as well.... but none of that will matter once the UC Bearcats are in the SEC.

Dave Baker is saying that Notre Dame will be asked to join the SEC along with WVa to make a 16 team field.

It seems like the addition of Missouri to the SEC could wind up killing the annual Alabama/Tennessee game, assuming Auburn moves to the SEC East as has been rumored.

Its sorta sad to watch Cincy fall like this. This was my fathers team. So much wasted money on athletic facilities only to be sent back to Conference USA.

The Pac 12 has just issued a statement that they will not expand beyond 12 teams (ie they don't have the votes for the teams that want to join???)

Leaving the ACC as the spazzy over-reactor that ruins it for everyone... again.

ND doesn't want anything to do with the SEC. They want the ACC so they can at least the 3rd or 4th best team during a good year.

I can't imagine how Notre Dame will ever join a conference in football besides the Big 10. It's the only thing that makes any sense at all. They already play half the conference on a yearly basis, so you keep those rivalries in tact. The Big 10 network makes a bazillion dollars, so Notre Dame will still have a lucrative television contract. And most important, since they will already get the chance to play Notre Dame, Michigan, Purdue, etc., on a yearly basis, they can still squeeze in those toughies against Army, Navy, and the Citadel that always end up on the Notre Dame schedule. Notre Dame to a conference other than the Big 10 in football long term can't be anything but pie in the sky stuff right now.

That is cute someone thinks that the Colts will score 13 against Shittsburgh on Sunday.

Speaking of all this, I will be in Cleveland this weekend working for my law firm and setting up a new phone system with them.

Joy.

I was there like two summers ago on the 4th of July. Wife and I went to Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and then an Indians game. Also went to the house where they filmed part of the Xmas story. With my previous job, I built up a ton load of hotel points and used them to basically stay there for the weekend for free. Got drunk every night and just had a good time. Probably won't have that much fun this time since I got work through the weekend and such.
