Next question. When the Xoom gets here are there long HDMI cords that can connect to her HDTV in case her eyes are so bad she still can't see it? Kinda making it an expensive remote?

Haven't tried it yet, but seems cool...

Google Maps announced today that its users will be able to see up close and personal underwater panoramic images in Australia, the Philippines and Hawaii through utilization of Street View. Done in an effort to provide “the most comprehensive, accurate and usable map of the world,” Google’s new photos of the world under the water will allow its users to explore six of the world’s living coral reefs.

Xoom came today. E was right. About 30 or so to get it updated (once you figured out how to turn the damn thing on!) When I gave it to her her eyes lit up. Battery lasts 10 hrs it says. She's gonna be pissed at midnight when I'm dead asleep and she wants to watch more porn.

Auggie, eCat and all other tech people:

I want a new tv. Tell me what I need to know and what I should look at when shopping.

Also, what brands or models should I avoid?

Thanks.

Spend as much money as possible and get the biggest screen possible. Can't go wrong with that.
