I just have one question: in what way are the charges against Jameis Winston all Auburn's fault?

That's all the proof we need. Auburn should immediately be put under investigation.

I hope some law enforcement authority puts Harvey Updyke under constant surveillance for the next few months. There is no telling what he might do.

Congrats to Auburn
But if you somehow take our spot in the title game after we go 13-0 I will drive down to the Plains and set fire to your hippie monument to the Trees.
BTW, was watching this cam and looks like some Bammer has already vandalized it!!!

If we take your spot in the title game, that would be fair. How many ranked teams did you play? If tOSOc played in the SEC, they'd have at least three losses.

I'm really not concerned with the BCSCG... yet. First, I'll be too busy basking in the double glow of the "Prayer in Jordan-Hare" and "Kick Six" for at least a week. Second, we have to beat Mizzou. That is not a given. They looked pretty good the times I saw them this year.
Third, even if we win out, 2004 taught most Auburn fans that the BCS will always screw us over if given half a chance. We expect it.

2004 was different - you WON all your games. Even though our 1993 team was one of the best of all time (#1 offense, #1 defense, #1 SOS IIRC), we lost our right to whine when we lost to Notre Dame. We were very, very lucky to make it to the MNC game.
Auburn has been unbelievably LUCKY the last two games, and got destroyed by LSU.
That said, if MSU beats anOSU this weekend and Auburn beats the black and gold Tigers, I relish the opportunity to pull the plug on your lucky season.

Auburn needed freak plays to beat injury-decimated Georgia and Alabama. You lost to LSU by 2 TD's. You beat Miss State by 4 and needed home cooking to survive Washington State. Your OOC was as bad if not slightly worse than ours, since you didn't play a single road game. Give me a break about how you deserve the title game so much more than us.
Explain why OSU is supposed to be embarrassed to "only" beat Iowa by 10 but beating Miss State (6-6) 24-20 is an impressive victory that OSU stands no chance to duplicate?
Auburn is demanding that they jump an undefeated team from another major conference. That's unprecedented in the BCS. To do something so extraordinary, I would expect that Auburn played one of the toughest schedules of all time and dominated their opponents save for one small slip-up.
1) It wasn't one of the toughest schedules ever. Nearly everyone has been saying that the SEC is down this year.
2) Auburn was far from dominant and in 6 of its SEC games won by a TD or less or LOST.
3) Auburn didn't have a minor slip-up. This wasn't like Alabama's close loss to LSU in 2011. Auburn got the shit beaten out of them by LSU. An LSU team significantly worse than the 2011 version.
4) Like Kevi said, this is nothing like 2004 where Auburn got passed over in favor of a team with the same record. Auburn is demanding to pass teams with BETTER records than they have based entirely on the virtue of one fluke victory.

One word - WAR!!!!

3 teams in the Top 5, 4 in the Top 8, 5 in the Top 15. 10 teams bowl eligible. Yeah it turned out to be a down year.

Yeah, I don't really recall anybody saying the SEC was particularly down this year. The Big10, OTOH...

So Missouri, in only its second year in the SEC, with a roster full of guys recruited to play in the Big12, is on the verge of winning the SEC, and this is considered a year where the SEC was especially strong?
Okey-dokey...but I guess that sorta of disproves the argument that a team from outside the SEC couldn't possibly win week after week with an SEC schedule. Or maybe Missouri just somehow already had loads of SEC SPEED!!! even before joining

the perception is the SEC is #1 out of all 6 conferences. Next year, they start the 4-team playoff. The SEC is making the argument that the SEC Champion must ALWAYS PLAY in that 4 team tourney, ALWAYS! The SEC must HOPE AGAINST ALL that Auburn wins. If Auburn LOSES to Mizzou... (with Big-XII players).... OOOPS! Maybe the SEC is not "all that?" Maybe Florida being nut smacked last year by the Big East team was not a fluke?
