That game was postponed/canceled way before Goodell made any decision. I'm not faulting Goodell or the NFL, if word had come down that Hamil was in stable condition and very likely to be OK, maybe they would've played it out. But the coaches and players knew, and that's when the decision was made, not when Goodell or anybody else said so...

I think the players and coaches made the decision way before Goodell did, and it wouldn't have mattered what decision Goodell had made after that. In fairness, though, if they had gotten word that Hamlin was stable and very likely to be OK, maybe they would've continued play. None of that matters now though. Hope the young man pulls thru...

If worse comes to worst, just move the playoffs back a week and let the Bengals and Bills replay their game in a couple weeks. Single game a week before the playoffs. If Hamlin doesn't pull thru, I don't know what you do...

Exactly Dave. That's when I started planning my drive home. Without the CPR & him at least moving or a thumbs up, no way they were playing. Sad night.
