If these spoiled brats don't want to play for the name on the front, take their name off the back and see how they like it. The only thing I give Indiana credit for.

Won't be surprised if Kentucky is a first round exit. Kids have no desire to put 110% effort on the court. Hope those twins declare for the draft. Can't stand to watch them smug and pout. This one and done stuff is getting old. Calipari probably should be thinking about the NBA soon IMO. Fans are getting restless.

I don't dislike the twins but they've never shown me they enjoy being a Kentucky player.

This is the first bunch of one and dones that Cal has had that has shown that college is just something that has to be completed before their payday.

Wall, Cousins, Knight, Davis, Gilchrist, hell, even Goodwin looked like they enjoyed the college experience. I doubt we'll ever see the Harrison twins come back to campus like the former players have.

Speaking on Indiana, they were up 63-51 to Penn St and lost 66-65.

That's crazy

I bet this is the beginning of the end for Crean

Maybe it's time to stop putting so much stock in recruiting "experts" who rate players based on AAU tournaments where team basketball is a novelty. If not for all the hype, UK fans wouldn't be so frustrated - this is a young team that has no idea how to play 40 minutes of team basketball. And Cal isn't the best at developing talent, just recruiting it. May also be time to realize that Strickland played a bigger hand in player development than the staff members who still remain...

But before you throw out the baby with the bath water, remember that the 2011 squad was still losing every other road game in mid-February and didn't "figure it out" until the last weekend of the regular season before going on a FF run. And shit, that team was a buzzer beat against Princeton from a first round exit...

There is no way I want any other coach than Cal right now.

But this has to be the last season where he buys (and sells) the hype of his recruiting progress turning into a juggernaut team.

Some freshmen integrated into a team of supporting players will excel, others will not - and until Cal either develops a system to develop them or becomes more finite in his recruiting process, its going to be a roll of the dice each year. Clearly what he is doing to get this team to develop isn't working well enough to make them a final four threat at this point.

I like that we're ranked and that we are always in the discussion for the final four - and for that, it buys my loyalty to Cal, but he has to tone it down with the rhetoric.

On other thing that has affected these kids is the officiating - the touch fouls on driving the lane - last night Randle had a one on one situation guarding a breakaway and he just let the kids go by for an uncontested lay up. This has to be condoned by Cal because I see it way to often. Cal must be telling these kids denying 2 points (and giving them a trip to the free throw line) isn't worth a foul because he needs them in the game - and I suspect its because 75% of the time you're going to get called for a foul even if it passed for a clean block last year.

If Cal coaches that, he is an idiot.

Told you guys you would hate those twins.

He probably doesn't but I am at a loss as to why I keep seeing this every game. Its an easily correctable issue.

well yea, its an obvious statement but its not universal. DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall hang out at UK every chance they get. The others have varying degrees of interest but it just seems this team has no interest in being here.

I know I'll get sassed for this, but I do feel that the vast majority of Carolina players really did love the school and still do. Obviously there are a couple of exceptions, but for the great most part, Carolina players always talk about how much they love Carolina, they come back and play summer ball with the current team, etc. I'm not sure if it means anything, but I've always appreciated it as a fan...

This year is a throw away for IU. No one expected them to do much. Now losing to Penn State is some bullshit though. He won't be on the hot seat after this season. If however, next season is the same as this one, yeah, the talk will start. However, this all depends on one thing and one thing only. That coach in Boston for the NBA. The minute he is on the hot seat is the minute Crean will be on the hot seat.

He has a contract now through 2020. Probably around a 3-4 million buyout.

Stevens contract he signed in 2013 was for 6 years.

So I figure, they both get 3 years to keep their jobs.

If I had a $4 million buy-out, I'd try to get fired on purpose. Nothing like getting paid to do nothing.
