Weather conditions are awful in the Chapel Hill area. Assuming the Carolina-dook* game is still on, look for the students to surround the court tonight. There's just no way folks are going to be able to get to the Dean Dome from out of town with these road conditions (already closed MLK / Old Airport Road, which is where the Chapel Hill Police Department is located). Should be one electric atmosphere if the kids get those high-dollar seats.

Oh and here's to my coming here tonight to see a post from Crotch, looking down his nose at us for rushing the court . ANYTHING just to WIN!

It's the expected freezing rain later that will cause all the power outages. It wouldn't surprise me if they postponed the game altogether, which sucks, as that would have been one fantastic atmosphere.

On the way home from work, I went off the road and into a ditch (on the other side of the road, backwards, glad a car wasn't coming the other way). These roads are as bad as I've ever seen. Was heading to Chapel Hill for the game tonight, but not now. We called our tickets into Will Call for some kids of friends who are students. I suspect alot of students are going to be there tonight, they'll probably just let everybody in for free whoever shows up...

I am pissed. Carolina made it to GT in the snowpacolypse. They had to walk to their hotel. The TV crews couldn't make it. The officials, the tv crews and the UNC team was there tonight. That rat faced piece of human shit was scared we would have students surrounding the court a la Maryland 2000.

Agreed awful job by Duke they should have left at 200 and been there.

We have 6" of snow here in Goldsboro (1.5 hours east) and an inch of ice on top.

The issue was that they were not going to be able to get home after the game
