There was a guy who's douchebag friends called him Petrus, which I think means "Rocky" and the rest were something like Paullus, Iacomus, Matityahu, Andreas, Philippos, Tūmā, Shimon. Or something like that.

my daughter just turned 13 a few days ago and its like a light switch went off. I've already had to address short shorts for school and her and my wife are going at it.
Our household doesn't have many arguments, or much cause for us raising voices. Just when I think I've got the boy straightened out, now I got to focus on her.
I told my wife - look I'm not going to undermine you in front of our daughter but this fighting bullshit is gonna stop. Figure it out.
Plus , my daughter is taking college freshmen math and is constantly asking me to help her with it - which means I spend 20 minutes on youtube learning how to do the problem and then showing her how because I don't remember any of this shit.
My son has a TI-84 Plus calculator and I think flying a 747 is easier than graphing on that hand held demon.

Man - our daughter just turned 13 as well - I am right there with you.
I can ask her to donate a kidney and she just smiles and says yes daddy.
The wife can ask her what color the sky is and it turns into WW3 - good times!

It's alot better now that my daughter is 15. When she was 13 she became evil personified. There were many "I hate you!" and "you're ruining my life!" yelled at her mother. The boys and I stayed on the sidelines, careful not to get involved in our little Syria conflict. It is ALOT better now. She is now smarter than her mother and knows just how to work things behind her back. Still evil, but at least I don't have to hear it.
As to the math, it's not that you don't remember, it's that they solve problems differently now than when you and I went to school. last night I couldn't figure out my sixth graders beginning algebra so I had him call his older brother at college.

My youngest daughter turned 13 back in June. Never had a problem yet. Must be the parenting.
