For a completely unrelated topic...

My supervisor, QC manager, and Director of Quality have offered me a supervisory position in Quality Control. Position accepted pending salary discussions with HR.

I started here 5 years ago turning wrenches.

I'm proud of you, GBJ. I always knew you were alright.

The congratulations are appreciated. And thanks for not holding that against me Hack!

The thing that makes me the happiest about it is I was the only person considered until they found out if I was interested. And that confidence in me is appreciated considering the trust required in our business.

GBJ, congratulations.

I myself have been given a promotion recently. I have gone from fry cook to grill cook. I'm hoping for assistant manager in a few years, but you know how competitive the fast food industry is...

More on the dozens of Bama fans who assaulted an unconscious LSU fan. United Kingdom calls into question the character of every Bama graduate

We don't even give a fuck what they think about our politics. Do you really think ALABAMA fans will care what they think about this? Probably mild compared to what occurs before, during, and after a futbol game.

I hear the REC has already started "The Brian Downey Legal Defense Fund."

The problem with Alabama is that 95% of their fan base makes the other 5% look bad.

It's unfair, I tell you.

Speaking of the 95%:

Report: Accused tree poisoner Harvey Updyke declines plea

http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-footba ... z1k3U8jNl3

Updyke, the Alabama fan who has been accused of poisoning the oak trees at Toomer’s Corner at Auburn University, rejected a plea deal that would have required him to spend 13 years in prison and never attend a Crimson Tide sporting event for the rest of his life, according to the report.

Updyke pleaded not guilty to all counts for reasons of mental disease or defect.

Why would he accept a plea? Are the trees dead yet?

If they took out the part about not attending any more Alabama football games, he'd take the plea. Until then, he's sticking with the "NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF ROLL DAMN TIDE" as his official legal defense.

Do you believe in evolution, prof? Because you're in danger of evolving into a one-trick pony.

Maybe.

...but it's a helluva good trick.
