Virginia is a good team. I don't know that losing to them at their place is a deal breaker.

Roy may decide to step down this year depending on if what's happening off the court is as bad as on the court.

You can't blame his recruiting - Hairston was your leading scorer, and you still beat Michigan St, Kentucky and Louisville. No other team has those kinds of wins.

UNC hasn't gotten the super elite recruits the past 2 years, at least in number, and that has led,in part, to this. I don't know if it was good coaching when they beat the top 5 teams or it's bad coaching now since I don't watch much hoops.

He'll have one of the best classes he's had since he came to UNC coming in next year so we'll see if that makes a difference.

But I agree, he doesn't look like he's having much fun anymore. If he's here in 3 years, I'll be surprised.

Roy is thin skinned with the fans, we know that - if word starts getting back to him that its more than just the goldenbrea's that have lost faith in him, he'll get pissed off and leave.

UNC shot well in those games,

but Meeks played key minutes, Roy startinG james to start the second was the nail in the coffin tonight.

He does have good class but not sure what is going to happen with all the players coming back.

JMM might stay another year, only MacDonald his a senior. They have 3 recruits and hopefully White coming back

I find it funny how Cincy is #15 and still only draws 6k per game.

There is a chance, however slight, that you might show up. Does that clear things up for you?

"Today's UNC article"

Obviously if this was just about UNC, Bloomberg nor anyone else (except State fans) would even be paying attention. Bloomberg admits as much in the first paragraph:

"This is a story about the moral foundation of a multibillion-dollar business: Division 1 of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. That’s why we’re devoting time and energy to it at Bloomberg Businessweek."
