I think Clemens did it twice, Randy Johnson did it twice, and Kerry Wood once.

4. Clemens did it twice. Clemens and Kerry Wood are the only 2 to do it in 9 innings.

Randy Johnson and somebody from the dark ages are the other two to do it (in extra inning games)

Has anybody ever struck out 27 batters in a row with 3 pitches (strikes) per batter, i.e., 81 strikes in a row?

I was going to say "Why didn't anybody else see it? Because you were sitting on the front row?" but then I thought "I'm better than that, I don't have to go for a cheap laugh from a lame fat joke aimed at BRM, he's good people and doesn't deserve it." And anyway, if you were on the front row, they could've just played the movie on your back, so everyone would have seen it. Except you...

Playing against the Boston Red Sox on July 17, 1990, the Minnesota Twins became the first (and to date the only) team in baseball history to turn two triple plays in the same game.

I just happened to be there that game. I was in Boston for a convention, took the family to Fenway.

Obviously your presence made the players work harder to get out of there as fast as possible, to avoid tainting themselves...

If Josh Beckett played for the Astros would his golf outing have been this big of an issue?
