The NFL is an air game now. Receivers are the ones getting the big bucks. A long term RB deal is rare these days and rarely work out. 100 yd rusing games aren't as prelevant today as receiving ones.

Name a great team with a great running back but no elite receivers. '85 bears (best defense ever), a Patriots team or two (best coaching) probably a few others who got good matchups. A great RB is awesome to have but you don't need one to win. Most teams do need an elite receiver to win.

Yeah but the Bills passed for 400 yards in that game (no interceptions) vs. 186 for Miami, and they almost tripled Miami's 40 yards in rushing. So they outgained them by almost 300 total yards. That's usually a winning formula...

I didn't have high hopes we could beat Ole Miss, they were going to be pumped for that game but we could have won it, just couldn't do jack in the 4th quarter

Weis’s playcalling sucked in the 2nd half…we were lucky to get that one.
