Also proves what we know all along. The strong are conservative while the weak and puny are more likely to be socialistic...

The majority of people want abortion legal but with restrictions.

Those who want it legal in all cases are a minority. Those who want it illegal in all cases an even smaller minority.

What was the time limit for Roe vs. Wade? 3 months? Maybe todays science says 2 months today. Id be fine with that (if the mom knew she was fucked). Still, abortion should be the mothers choice. Not really even a debate.

I would hope somebody in that interview pointed out to Woodward that his description of Nixon personally altering Watergate transcripts does not equate to somebody in the State Dept. or CIA altering Benghazi transcripts.

However, if a team of enterprising reporters can prove that oprama orchestrated the Sunday talkshow-two step, then they'll be famous forever and inspire a blockbuster movie...maybe starring Affleck and Damon, maybe call it "All the Black Wore Off" or something similar.

All of these scandals, faux or otherwise, merely point out what we Hillary backers knew all along back in '08. Namely, that HRC actually wore the pants in that primary, and would have done so for two terms in the WH.

Oprama has often been detached and aloof and many of his quagmires are a result of his own, uh, aloofness. You'd think a man with no more races to run would be more combative and willing to get a little dirt under his nails, but that's just not his style. He had better find a pair or his last three years really are going to be Carter-like.

Honestly, this isn't true at all. The only amendments that conservatives seem to value are the 2nd and the 10th. All others can be compromised or scaled back. Conservatives consistently advocate restrictions on the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th

I am legendary in my defense of the 4th and 5th which is why LRD ran away like a kicked puppy. I can't remember any news stories talking about the 6th and 7th or people arguing against trial by jury, speedy trial etc. Who has been complaining about that?
I have seen conservatives suggest the 14th amendment goes too far and takes too much power from the states; that the clause granting citizenship through birth needs to be eliminated. I have seen conservatives argue that the 16th Amendment should be eliminated and that the 17th amendment should be axed to return control of the Senate to (currently-Republican dominated) state legislatures. Angry over their lack of popularity I have seen conservatives on this board argue that the 19th (women's suffrage), 23rd (poll taxes), and 26th (18 as voting age) also be eliminated.
Considering our lack of immigration enforcement not sure 14 sec 1 makes much difference.

Repealing the 16th is freedom enhancing, so not sure why that is a bad thing.

On the 17th wasn't the intent that the the house represent districts of people and the Senate represent the state? From another site: "The original intent of the founders was to have a Federalist system which consisted of individual states and a small central government with very limited powers. The idea was that the states would send the senators to Washington to represent them. If a senator started voting against the best interests of the state which he represented, he could be immediately recalled........It is clear that the founders’ intent was to always have the states be more powerful than the federal government, which is why the states ratified the Constitution, giving the federal government the authority only to do what they felt was necessary." I'd be willing to try it the original way.

I think there is only one person who has actively argued for repeal of the 19th. Although womens inane love of imagined security for loss of freedom is a Dims best friend. This should be link to Man Show push to end womens suffrage: http://www.kontraband.com/videos/124...mens-Suffrage/

23rd isn't poll tax. 24th is. Can socalists be prevented from voting for being morons? That isn't a tax.

Haven't heard many on the 26th either. More that the drinking age should be 18 if voting and military are 18.

IRS to hire more employees for corporate, international compliance

Posted by accountingweb on Apr 6 2009

In an economic downturn when few companies are hiring, one federal agency plans to embark on its largest hiring initiative in recent history – the IRS will hire more than 3,500 enforcement employees.

Within that total will be more than 2,000 new revenue agents and revenue officers, said Deputy Commissioner for Services and Enforcement Linda E. Stiff. Several hundred will focus on large corporate compliance, and up to 700 will handle international issues, according to BNA Daily Tax Report and OMB Watch, which reported Stiff's comments at a March 30 conference of the Tax Executives Institute.
