Giants should have stuck with Eli for at least 1 more and probably 2 more years. He earned that. Instead they kicked him to the curb for what may very well be the worst starting QB in the league. Embarrassing.

Eli was done. Maybe could have got another year but they would have sucked anyway. The $ wasn't worth it. Best best would have been a FA one year prove it deal to a vet because the choices at QB in that draft were absolutely horrible.

Is Johnny Unitas still playing?

He would have played in 2020 if they let him start. Barkley probably would have continued his wild success from his first two seasons rather than getting injured, and they could have easily made the playoffs.

Yeah. He was horrible in 18 as were the Giants. They were hoping he'd retire but he didn't.

"App State rolls again. Came to play this year."

I wouldn't call forcing a safety with a minute left in the game and then throwing a 57 yard TD with 7 seconds left "rolling"...

Burrow might want to sit down and have a heart to heart with the O' Line coach

Damn. I knew when Ken Anderson left right after the 1st series after halftime series I should have followed. I knew not playing a snap together was gonna hurt them but damn. Game 1 was a fluke only won by an act of God. They still came back. Today, another last second 3 point loss. Again, they came back. That's been their story since last year. 2nd half adjustments. They did that again too. They still have yet to figure out the 1st half. We led the league in 3 point or less games last year. Guess were well on our way to defend that. Just not getting the bounces yet. I'm worried but our division is wide open. So, not that much. Plenty of time. Gotta win next week though.

Rant over

ASU is supposedly firing Herm Edwards after losing to Eastern Michigan

early season firings seem more common this year
