Sad, really.
I'm just honored to be in the conversation.

Look, don't be sad. Go put your Abba on the spindle and kick back with yer usual grape-flavored Tiparillo and Walgreen's brand scotch.

only the insufferable fanatics can't laugh at this one...

Aurora, Colorado mass shooter James Holmes and his attorneys are in discussions about defense strategy. There appear to be four alternatives under consideration: Plead guilty and possibly be executed; plead innocent and certainly get executed; plead not guilty by reason of insanity and maybe get executed; or run for any open Congressional seat in South Carolina as a Republican and almost certainly get elected.

Ariel Castro, who kidnapped those three young girls and held them in a dungeon as sex slaves for ten years in Cleveland, now admits he is a flawed person but the Lord forgives him, so that makes everything okay. He's running for governor of South Carolina and already has a 45% approval rating.

And, according to ESPN, the New York Times, and the Birmingham News, Ariel Castro was also a member of Auburn's 2010 football team.

The Tesla is making noise in Consumer Reports and the pc environmentalist/inside the beltway crowd.....so all you smart folks take your $60K-90K and run out and buy one. Pls report back here asap and tell us how great it/you is/are...and btw hope you've got plenty of time on your hands when you decide to go on vacation....

The only reason the Model S didn't earn a perfect score was that it needs time to recharge. Depending on price, the Model S has driving range of between 208 and 265 miles. A full charge takes about six hours from an ordinary 240 volt outlet, according to Tesla.

You don't really think that the people buying Tesla's are single car families that would rely on the Tesla for long range vacation travel do you?

10ac is right. Much like the country, this thread is now a majority liberal thread. The progressives 'tick, hedge, Augie and crash have their heels on the necks of conservatives 10ac, sardis, boj and toe. IB now stops by occasionally to provide comic relief.

It is up to me and rat to provide the wise, moderate middle. It is noble work that we do nobly.

I have to say that you are one of the more reasonable right-leaning posters I've come across on the internet, which makes for interesting (to me, anyway) political discussion or, even when I don't feel like discussion, something interesting to think about. Your entirely unreasonable religious views, however, while not quite grading into the hysterical, is another story altogether...

"The progressives 'tick, hedge, Augie and crash have their heels on the necks of conservatives 10ac, sardis, boj and toe."

In fairness, that last group is hardly a murderer's row when it comes to presenting truly conservative ideas and points in any sort of intellectual or even intelligent (oh what the hell, intelligible) manner...

The root of liberal is libertas, i.e., freedom. The root of conservative is con, i.e., con game...

"The root of liberal is libertas, i.e., freedom." Oxymoronic.
