How is it roughing the passer when the able still has the ball when the tackler hits him?

Good game. Difference is just that. I feel good about it. Richardson just needs to breathe.

This is about what I expected. 2 low 20s teams within a score. Seems there's a Week 2 hangover going round.

Come on, Napier, don't shit on your defense by going on 4th and long from your 20 yardline. They've already been worn down by the offense not staying on the field.

that was a huge jump for Florida, they shouldn't have been ranked 12 but it makes Kentucky look all that much better

Levis is tough. Let's see how he develops this year. Could be #1.

Clearly Desmond Watson wears #21 for a reason…I’m thinking he ate Desmond Howard…

Judging from the look on his face and his general demeanor, I'm going to say shrooms...

From an IC game recap, sadly so obvious it hardly had to be said, but it needed to be...

"Defensively, it’s bad. Georgia State doesn't have near the offensive firepower to take full advantage of this Carolina team’s shortcomings. An average quarterback could shred this secondary to pieces because a below-average quarterback can still have a career day. Darren Grainger was 7-of-29 (24%) last week completing passes against South Carolina, with a touchdown and an interception. Today, he was 16-of-24 (67%) with three touchdowns and no turnovers. There is no fear throwing against UNC, and when you look at some of the opposing quarterbacks coming up on the schedule, it’s hard to imagine the luck continuing with how much of a liability that group is. A daunting challenge ahead when the players on the field don’t look like they can get it done and there presumably isn’t a viable option behind them."

Was just about to go there about the LSU kid. Shrooms. Or it's one of Brian Kellys kids.

The way the rule is written he has to avoid leading with his helmet, hands, fist, elbows, shoulders, etc. But I think at the same time it also has to be a play that goes beyond what is needed for a legal tackle, which is probably why they picked the flag up. OTOH they still could have called helmet to helmet or roughing because he did lead with his helmet into Levi's head. The OL just blew his assignment leaving Levis completely exposed, although it looked like he still should have seen him coming peripherally which is why I tend to give the DE some leeway thinking he needs to make a hard and fast play so the QB doesn't duck out of it. All in all it could have gone either way. It looked very questionable on replay but I don't have a huge problem with them picking up the flag all things considered.

Also, UK has the most god awful looking uniforms I've ever seen in any sport. What is that checkered flag shit on their shoulders about? Is NASCAR that big in Kentucky?
