I kinda like Cracker Barrel.
I told the boy I didn't want to hear any horror stories about the kitchen.

Heh, nah, me and Rah are cool as a fan (even though I haven't seen him in almost a year) but I'm not him. Rah is one of the few people (with Sam888, WestDawg and Johnette'sDaddy as the others) that know my full government name. The old NBA forum crew were kinda tight.

Rah should be preemptively banned over this Holland-US soccer game.

Dude is making a great case for gun control and I wonder if that's his intent. Or is he just a regular dumbfuck?

I would think TSA rules would supersede the constitution in airports. They already do with regard to the first amendment, i.e., you are not allowed to "joke" when going thru the security line, so I don't see how they couldn't pull rank on the 2nd amendment as well...

I think guys that bring loaded guns like that into bars , movie theaters, grocery stores - and I never considered airports - are assholes.
I agree with their right to do it, but until god forbid it is ever necessary, why do it? I just antagonizes more people to be anti-gun.

the boy told me Cracker Barrell isn't going to issue him a paycheck. They give him a prepaid visa card they put money into every 2 weeks.
I can see why - generating paper checks is costly and I best a good % of their employees don't keep regular checking /savings accounts which would make direct deposit a headache.
They had him go to an orientation today for busboys where they impressed upon him the importance of not waking babies. I thought that was odd and funny at the same time but regardless he seems excited at the idea of working for them.

I think the Kansas governor thought he'd experiment with this tax cut scheme and that would lay the foundation for him to become president.
Looks like its either going to usher in a new era of state led austerity for people (while states wrestle with taking federal funding ) or its going to show how important a state funded security net is.
It has the potential to be a human calamity by limiting people to $25 on welfare, but I don't have any context to what they were getting in welfare before.
