Cleveland won't burn. It will drive more people to be conservative (riots historically have had that impact) but it will be a necessary result. People are becoming more and more aware of the plight some communities face under police action.

A more real and balanced look at why states have deficits. Probably the same percentages of blue and red states have shortfalls. It is simple thinking to say that tax cuts cause deficits especially when you also have states that didn't cut taxes who have deficits.

I'm sure those in the business community who are "outraged" will be packing up and leaving the Lone Star state, soon.

compare how those states recovery has been related to those that didn't have the large tax cuts? Kansas, Louisiana and Wisconsin all had lower unemployment than the national average. You are correct, it's not as simple as just tax cuts. But the premise that the Laffer curve tax cuts creates job growth? Not likely in this day and time. Give me a pragmatist over an ideologue any day.

Why I hate my Governor!

How Bobby Jindal Broke the Louisiana Economy

http://www.newsweek.com/how-bobby-jinda ... omy-337999

"More than any of that, his constituents are frustrated that their governor can’t be bothered to do his day job—and when he does, that his actions are often transparently designed to build a national profile rather than meet Louisiana’s needs."

Kansas and Louisiana need to realize that even if they eliminate taxes altogether, still know one wants to move there.

sigh....Kasich....

In exchange for locating three data centers outside of Columbus and creating 1,000 jobs over the next several years, Amazon.com will voluntarily collect state and local sales tax on online purchases by Ohio consumers starting today (Monday, June 1).

Before today, the online retailer had for left it up to its consumers in Ohio and other states to keep track of and pay their own state sales tax, which few people actually did. Some say the state lost out on tens of millions in uncollected sales tax revenue as a result.

Been known for awhile. Doesn't bother me. Then again I don't buy from Amazon.

Was it this Kasich/Amazon tax issue that caused you to go on this rampage?

C'mon. That story is at least a year old. Nothing will ever beat the time I took a dump on Mike Browns Car in the Bengals Secure Parking Lot. 1992 or 93. Don't remember but it was the same year the enquire published a pic of me passed out saying another Bengal fan fell asleep. My friends left me and begged him to take a pic of me, alone in the entire section. Fuckers gave him my name.

I thank God everyday I was stupid before smartphones.
