Lastly, Dexter spent like 5 seasons being a meticulous, planning badass. Now, he'll escape the clutches of Lil Tom Hanks...barely...and cling to life in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and make it home, but not follow the next logical thought that Lil Tom has all of his information, AND KEYS, and may come to his house to kill his kid...who is the most important thing in his life after his wife was killed by a serial killer???? Get the fuck outta here. The writers got lazy and jumped the shark. I don't care how interesting the prospects of next season's therapy and murder dynamics will be.[/spoiler]

[spoiler=]Here is the thing especially after watching all these seasons over the past 6 months. Ever since he had his child, he has looked to become more human, to get rid of his dark passenger. And since then his life has gone to crap. With Trinity, he was trying to become normal and be a family man but it turned it to be an entire hoax. With the blonde chick, he was looking for a soul mate to share his passenger with but turned out was not to be BUT gave him hope that his dark passenger could go away. This season with the whole religious thing (which in past seasons he has laughed at the notion), he was still looking for that unanswered question of how not to pass his dark passenger down to Harrison.

With little tom hanks, you have to remember that his "father" kept telling him to let it go that he was getting to deep and should let this one go. As far as his keys and such, he probably didn't even think about it and if you recall he thought Travis was long gone cause that was the final image. As far as police waiting on him, yeah, that was kinda silly but that didn't bother me that much.

As far as him leaving the building with TDK and his son with security cameras and such, I get that BUT you know that has happened a few other times and that is just one of them things that you have to let slide, went through the service elevators, blah blah blah. Just have to assume he got away and no one is none the wiser. That is where you need to suspend belief even more.[/spoiler]

Saw the new Mission Impossible last night.

On one hand, 48% formulaic, 52% predictable and on the other hand 59% implausible, 41% impossible.

Which equals 100% fun. I enjoyed it.

It's an action-based popcorn flick. Don't expect "Saving Private Ryan" - just sit back and suspend logic and realism for a couple of hours.
