Our weak but talented schedule
Draftpoints.com gives 250 points for #1 overall, 249 for #2, etc. Based on that, here are the rankings from the 2015 draft:
1. FSU
2. Miami
3. Louisville
4. UF
5. Stanford
6. Alabama
7. Missouri
8. Washington
9. Oregon
10. USC
11. Oklahoma
12. Clemson
Yep, we played 5 of the top 12 (4 in the regular season) teams with draftable NFL talent.

Miami made the most of their talent, didn't they?

As did UF...
UF had a pretty poor class this year; not entirely surprising given the late coaching hire but I'm not sure that more than 3 or 4 of their recruits will be NFL prospects in the future.
Miami continues to recruit decently (though their high recruiting rankings are generally quantity over quality). It remains to be seen whether they will continue to do so if Golden keeps putting out mediocre teams. It's humorous though, as they used to call Jimbo "Four Loss Fisher" - yeah he lost four games his first two seasons but Al Golden's best season was four losses (he's lost 4, 5, 6, and 7 games).

This baseball team is annoying.
I didn't expect much from them at all. Most of the quality pitchers left last year, and many position players as well. So it wasn't surprising to see them struggle early. But they managed to take series from UF and UM, two very good teams, and get demolished by Notre Dame then Clemson and Louisville at the end of the year.
Along comes the ACC Tournament, and they go 4-0 and the starting pitching was phenomenal. The problem is, when the post season starts, you can't be the streaky "who's gonna show up" team and that's exactly what they are. It would be a major accomplishment to win the regional (a very tough field all things considered), and a milestone to go down and beat UF after that to make the CWS. It's not going to happen this year most likely....I wish we had DJ Stewart another year.

local rumor mill is buzzing with talk that Jimbo and Candy are divorcing - she is rumored to be having a relationship with her trainer, who is supposedly a UF grad - hate it for the 2 boys - hope that Jimbo can remain emotionally stable in the coming months if this turns out to be true

Yeah, from $5M/year to $30/hour.
If that happens, maybe Jimbo will call Jeremy Pruitt and get his little black book, Tallahassee edition. Nothing screams revenge like banging a chick twice as hot and half her age. We'll know it's all true if Jimbo does something about his "hair island".

Yes, it was. But this was also the weakest FSU team I've seen in years (probably at least 20) so I wasn't the least bit surprised. Hopefully someone else can knock that idiotic mustache off Schwarz's face in Omaha.

Tally is still a small town, Kevi - I'm surprised that they were able to keep the lid on this one as long as they did

Doc, you upset about the American Dream passing yesterday? I confess I never had any interest in wrasslin' but I understand he was a heck of a good guy and undoubtedly a great entertainer.

Sorry for late reply - was indeed a sad moment - lot of my childhood spent watching the Dream - gonna drop an elbow on BBB next time I see him in the Dreams honor.
