Nope. As always, I belong to the American Party. I vote what I believe. Democrat or Republican. I refuse to let a political party sway my vote.

If only more Americans thought the same.

hot button issues do decide on some voters.

I bet single women wouldn't vote for a democrat who made it a priority to repeal roe v wade.

certainly hot button issues are the main reason the republicans tear each other down and can't fully support any single candidate.

Okay. I will take your word for it. It just seems around here that people just look for the (R) behind a candidates's name.

And, really, most pols just lie about all the critical issues. Speaking before a group of Southerners, Obama said he supports the 2nd A and says we have enough gun laes. Speaking before some libs in Massachusetts, he says we need gun control and more laws.

GOP fucked up again...when will they learn? Not showing up to Selma will have a larger overhang on '16 than Hillary's home email server farm.

It's like they staunchly refuse to look at the demographics of this place.

That's just one lady, though. Sounds to me like she is inconsequential to the decision making process and just making excuses. I don't even know why Fox gave her a platform. Well, I guess I know why...I just don't understand why.

I do think the GOP sent Kevin McCarthy at the last minute, so my initial umbrage was not too on point.

Rand Paul and Ted Cruz should have been there

Anyone who wanted to open up the narrative of the GOP as an inclusive party, leading into '16, should have been there. The Civil Rights movement is 100% aligned with the George Washington, Patrick Henry, self-determined patriot discourse that exists in the Republican Party. To not be there to show your support makes your claims of what's a "true, God fearing American" dubious. Big opportunity missed. Scott and McCarthy are bit players. JEB did have big brother there, so there is that.

Quiet as kept, I was totally expecting W to show up. Kanye's claims notwithstanding, W "gets it" with regard to the importance of those moments.

to be honest I didn't think of it as a political opportunity

and props to Dubya for showing up because he has nothing to gain by it

Let's hope that GOP doesn't consider an event like that a lost cause for influence.

I think Congress is/are being complete assholes sending that letter to Iran.

You know they'd lose their fucking minds if this was a republican president and democrats were doing it.

I thought the unspoken rule was you could beat your president up at home but you don't backdoor him on foreign policy.

This shows you the power of IPAC in this country, and I'm most disappointed with Rand Paul - a guy hoping to be Commander in Chief and a guy who talks about establishing trade with countries instead of war.

He's fucking clown shoes to me again.

Heh. Some can't back away from this tarbaby fast enough.

"It [the Cotton letter] was kind of a very rapid process. Everybody was looking forward to getting out of town because of the snowstorm," McCain said. "I think we probably should have had more discussion about it, given the blowback that there is."

The irony of it all is that St. Reagan negotiated directly with the Iranians.

To me, this is simply just another test for my friends to see if they value party over country. The call on whether that was right or wrong is a fucking no-brainer.

Hillary offers the same test for my Democratic friends.

and yes, Zarif's response was in English.

The arrogance of this Senate move is only shocking in that 46 other people piled on. I expect the Newb to bring it up, but not mobilize these human anal warts to enthusiastically join in on the fuckery.

Man, I can't wait until we have a white president again so we can just look like squabbling babies inside the house and not take our fights onto the front lawn for the neighborhood to watch.
