Victory by Ole Miss makes tick's weekend. SEC fans are very, very supportive of each other. No real rivalries, just friendships, down there

Heh. And then it occurred to me where I've heard this refrain before.

Vol fans were indignant over the exclusion of Kentucky. Rest easy, tick. Rest easy, my friend. The world now recognizes the injustice of that outrageous act.

White supremacist gang member and ex-con named as the man killed in the Texas highway chase and the chief suspect in the Colorado slaying of the Tom Clements. Also may have ties to the murder of a prosecutor in Dallas who was part of a racketeering case against the Aryan Brotherhood

Hope he fries. And I really hope Amnesty International doesn't waste candles on a vigil for this scum.

Ditto the two kids in Georgia who killed a baby in a stroller and wounded the mom.

Some folks just need to be suffer the most severe punishment.

Did they make that play illegal now or is it still legal but you can't bounce it off the defender back out of bounds and get the ball back? I remember hearing something about them not liking hitting the other player with the ball and making at least one of those, if not both illegal.

Don't matter, it's just basketball I was just wondering.

I now know enough about those voices you hear to stay clear. Perhaps some other Good Samaritan will answer the call. heh

Tick it's a simple question I really don't know the answer. I remember hitting opponents in the feet and knees with the ball and getting the ball back when time was running out to get the ball in but thought they made it illegal.

But I don't follow basketball rules, quit following them back in the 90's when the legalized walking and now I understand they have some idiotic line where you aren't allowed to play defense and get a charge so I don't know if it is still legal to bounce the ball off your opponent or not for sure.

So I just found the answer. It is both legal and illegal depending on what the official thinks. It is their judgement as to whether or not it was intentional and if it could cause injury to the other player according to the officiating sites I just found.

If they don't think it was intentional or if they don't think they intended to harm the other player then it is legal. If they think you threw it too hard it's illegal.

Heck we always threw it hard to keep them from having a chance to catch it, and at least when I did it I threw it at their knees/shins to make it harder to do anything with.
