You know, I'm suprised MDT isn't in here with his Jawja smack talk. Some of that stuff was priceless.

Never been much of a smack talker. And this team certainly hasn't engendered some new level of confidence that would cause that to change. The fact is that we still have a lot of question marks and are staring down the barrel of a brutal 4-game stretch. I guess the most provocative thing I can muster to say is that this game looks like one of the more winnable out of the 4. But that's all relative. I'm not even cautiously optimistic. I feel like I'm on a roller coaster, cresting the top of the first big drop, just holding on and not knowing what to expect -- just that it's sure to be exciting.

Well, I hope not, obviously. But it wouldn't surprise me.

There is a decent chance we go 2-2 out of this. GA hasn't done to well at our place the last two times they came here. I didn't realize till a bit ago they actualy have two losses with one in the SEC. They, at best, appear to be equal to us with a touch more experience than us. We have them at home. Carolina seems to be slowly creeping upwards when it comes to being among the better teams in this league. However, they still have a ways to go. They have come far but not far enough. I think we can take them.

I'm expecting 1-3 with the win comming at GA's expense. We can do 2-2 though.

Should be an interesting 4 weeks.

Informal poll time:

If we beat GA tomorrow, who thinks Mark Richt will still be the head coach at GA after the season?

I say he'll be gone.

Man - in the glory days of CNN and Worldcrashing there would be several hundred posts leading up to a UGA/UT game. Now its just Rat and Wiz sniffing each others farts.

Yes I still miss UGABoy, Shiny, Pale etc

Charlie Garner will be honored as one of the Legends of the game during the Georiga game. Too bad he can't suit up and play. We could use him.
