I know Aaron Rogers is having a good year but I think Green Bay is overrated. I don't see them making it to the Super Bowl.

TexAgs announced a program today offering new subscription levels where for an extra $10, $25, or $100 a month, they are going to give out 75% of the proceeds to A&M athletes for NIL in exchange for interviews and content for the $10 level, plus signed items and merch for the $25 and $100 level. On one hand it seems crazy, but on another I know I am way more likely to decide to pay $10 a month if I know that $7.50 goes right into one of our athletes pocket than I am to pay the typical TexAgs subscription which just would let me talk on special message board and know that some kid is going to commit to us 30 minutes before the general public does and all that other "recruiting news" bullshit.

Their defense is mediocre but teams with similar numbers have stepped it up in the past to win a title.

NIL is going to change so much about college sports.

TexAgs has a ridiculous number of subscribers just for their recruiting bullshit. They have more than 10,000 people paying them $15 a month, and probably many times that many just posting on the message boards for free. My conservative estimate based on how popular I think they idea of donating directly to players (even if another business will take a 25% cut on the costs) is going to be on the NIL subs is that they'll end up paying out at least $2-3 million a year to players. It's basically a Patreon sub for A&M athletics.

if you don't get in on it early and go big, you'll be left behind.

IC is the largest 247 site and may be the largest amongst the network (rivals and 247) sites. I hope Buck and Ben are smart enough to try that.

From perusing the UVa boards after we landed a couple of football prospects that UVa was also in the running for (and also flipping one of their commits a few weeks ago), the sour grapes consensus over there was that UNC has somehow already mastered the NIL game and a lot of it has to do with the Jordan connection. I have no idea about any of it, but they wouldn't shut up about it...

Is Rickart still banned from their boards? Even that bunch of pricks think Dave is a cocksucker. I seem to remember their boards banning Dave years ago for his shit.

I don’t think the Eagles have a single starter in the game and they’re hanging tight with a Dallas team that appears to want the win.

That's as likely as IB getting a woman to have sex with him out of free will without money.

"I think what is a little concerning is how is that used to get players to decide where they go to school, because I don't think that was the intention," Saban said. "I don't think that would be the NCAA's intention. I think we probably need some kind of national legislation to sort of control that to some degree, because I think there will be an imbalance relative to who can dominate college football if that's not regulated in some form or fashion."
Lol. Excuse me, what Nick? And how do you feel about the imbalance between the salaries some schools pay to coaches?
