I'm not sure that's accurate.
Sure, I could have stayed in the past. I could have even been king. But in my own way, I am king.

This looks to be older than the Tool song.

This her singing or playing the organ?

Also this is very good also.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

Good to see the next generation covering Tool instead of today's absolutely pathetic pop music.

Rat -- Have you taken her to see the band live before? Amazing show, man. If Maynard doesn't get his ass in studio to finally finish the album they started promising nearly two years ago, maybe she can sub in for him.

To be honest, I had never heard of Tool until this came up. My cousin swears he gave me a burned CD of them once but that must have been in my blackout years.

You would have thought the Sycamore Football shirt would have gave that one away. However, it is fun watching your kids walk the same school halls that you did as a kid.

Thankfully all my old teachers are mostly gone or else they'd be screwed.

My aunt sends me corny emails all the time, just sent this one today, Rat's post reminded me of it...

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN GUILTY OF LOOKING AT OTHERS YOUR OWN AGE AND THINKING, SURELY I CAN'T LOOK THAT OLD?

WELL .. . . YOU'LL LOVE THIS ONE........

MY NAME IS MARY, AND I WAS SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH A NEW DENTIST.

I NOTICED HIS DDS DIPLOMA ON THE WALL, WHICH BORE HIS FULL NAME. SUDDENLY, I REMEMBERED A TALL, HANDSOME, DARK-HAIRED BOY WITH THE SAME NAME HAD BEEN IN MY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS SOME 30-ODD YEARS AGO.

COULD HE BE THE SAME GUY THAT I HAD A SECRET CRUSH ON, WAY BACK THEN?

UPON SEEING HIM, HOWEVER, I QUICKLY DISCARDED ANY SUCH THOUGHT.

THIS BALDING, GRAY-HAIRED MAN WITH THE DEEPLY LINED FACE WAS WAY TOO OLD TO HAVE BEEN MY CLASSMATE.

AFTER HE EXAMINED MY TEETH, I ASKED HIM IF HE HAD ATTENDED MORGAN PARK HIGH SCHOOL .

'YES. YES, I DID. I'M A MUSTANG,' HE GLEAMED WITH PRIDE.

'WHEN DID YOU GRADUATE?' I ASKED.

HE ANSWERED, 'IN 1975. WHY DO YOU ASK?'

'YOU WERE IN MY CLASS!', I EXCLAIMED.

HE LOOKED AT ME CLOSELY.

THEN, THAT UGLY,

OLD,

BALDING,

WRINKLED FACED,

FAT-ASSED

GRAY-HAIRED,

DECREPIT,

MISERABLE MAN,

ASKED...

"WHAT DID YOU TEACH" ?

So is Roy saying he wants this guy to transfer?

Q: What have you seen out of J.P.?

A: An improved jump shot, an improved responsibility with the ball, not turning it over and just throwing it everywhere and anywhere. Still a phenomenal athlete and phenomenal rebounder on the offensive boards. So I’m hoping that all that transfers. I would say he’s been one of the more impressive guys we’ve had in preseason.

Tool would have definitely been the band for you during any blackout periods...heh

I'll shut up about music on the basketball thread after this post, but they rank #1 on my list of all time favorites.
