I finally got around to looking at the stats this morning - if you dont look at the turnover line you would have no idea who won the game. We moved it all night.

We really had 7 turnovers - we had 3 shots from the 1 yard line and came up a foot short - then the OLeary mugging should have been 1st and goal on the 2.

Just sloppiness with the ball.

Having said that we still probably lose - but if we had scored the two TD's in the first half who knows, we probably still get beat by 10 or 14 because we had no answer for their offense.

Regardless great run guys!

Sooo.....

A handful of Seminoles go to midfield after the game to shake hands with the Oregon players, including Jameis and Rashad Greene. ESPN considers this to be a classless, egregious act worthy of tweeting relentlessly and having the announcers go on and on about it.

In the meantime, several Oregon players were caught chanting, "No means no" to the tune of the Warchant. And a few hours later, exactly 5 Bama players go to midfield after their game, not including the QB who quickly hauled ass to the locker room after his hail mary interception. Nary a word from the Worldwide Leader.... Now I don't think any of the three "incidents" are worthy of reporting on but the hypocrisy and willingness to jump on FSU at any opportunity is absolutely disgusting. Assholes.

FSU players return to find their cars vandalized, tires slashed.

The Tallahassee PD will conduct a thorough investigation!

None of the vandals were on the football team. Therefore they will feel the full wrath of the TPD and DA.

Prof is just pissed we never kick our players off the team because it doesn't give AU a chance to pick up some more criminals.

The NCAA gives and the NCAA takes back.

Bowden no longer winningest coach.

The ACC didn't give us a break with the 2015 schedule. The last two years have been very favorable but this one has a tough 5 (or 6, depending on perspective) week stretch:

10/10 vs Miami
10/17 vs Louisville
10/24 at GT
10/31 vs Syracuse
11/7 at Clemson

Then NCSU comes to town on 11/14 - relatively easy game on paper but those fuckers always play up against us. Cuse should be a breather but otherwise those are the toughest games on the schedule besides UF and maybe BC.

I am worried about BC on a friday nite of all things.

They have played us tougher than anybody last two years (well except Oregon - heh)

Some interesting pseudo-drama with Deondre Francois yesterday, one of our three four-star QB commitments.

Since the three committed within days of each other last fall, it has been widely speculated that one or two would jump ship before National Signing Day. De'Andre Johnson was an early entry this Spring, so teams have been going after Kai Locksley and Deondre Francois. Of the three, Francois appears to be the most college-ready, with good tutelage at IMG Academy and winning Florida's Mr. Football in 2014. The Gators have been pushing him hard, but after a visit last weekend he reconfirmed his commitment to FSU and declared himself "100% Nole".

Yesterday a tweet came from his account declaring he was officially decommitting from the "University of Florida State". Then the OL coach at IMG confirmed it, but Francois recanted and said his account was hacked (meaning a buddy screwed with his phone). He now states, once again, that he is "100% FSU".

He looks like an excellent prospect, and it is very possible would start at UF some point next year (again, not sold on Grier and Harris was pretty average), so I wouldn't blame him at all if he made the business decision to go to UF. However, if he does at this point, it shows me that both he and the UF coaching staff (for convincing him to pull this NSD stunt) have poor character - this whole Dante Fowler BS of "I'm sticking with my commitment" over and over until National Signing Day, thus leaving the original school in an impossible position to make up, is just stupid. If you think for a second that you might be changing your mind, let the coaching staff know so they can either fish or cut bait. If you're a high value prospect, the coaches aren't going to pull your offer especially if you do it in a classy way.

To correct myself: Francois was NOT Florida's Mr. Football, De'Andre Johnson was. I get my Deondre's and De'Andre's confused sometimes.

No drama for the Noles on NSD this year...we already had a solid class and took some gambles on some longshots that didn't pan out for us. We'll still be thin at LB and DL, just like last year, but the defensive backfield haul this year was amazing. Derwin James is going to be an absolute monster and already has an NFL-ready look to him.
