I bet $10 on Michigan as well. I win $25 if they get it done.

All underdogs, go get 'em boys.
Whoops...

That loss to Bammer musta stung. Rematch is going to be epic if the Georgia team playing tonight shows up in the championship game...

Whoops is right. Oh well.

The SEC commissioner is thinking, playoff committee, next time give us all 4 playoff spots.

I don't think its good for college football when both teams are from the SEC....and Clemson might as well be

Clemson sucked this year.

The SEC thing is irrelevant, what sucks is that now all we ever get is one championship game, two shitfest semifinals every year, and a bunch of turd bowls that nobody gives a fuck about except whatever yipping dog, shitass team actually bests some other team that had no players return for it. There would be more good games in a season (including in the regular season) and better storylines with a much larger playoff system. The semifinals would also probably be better, even if the same teams were in it, because the favorites wouldn’t have a whole fucking month to prepare for the matchup

only if you pull for upsets. Its hard to argue the best teams aren't in the final 4

In most years, there are teams who are playing better than 2-4 but aren’t in it because of losses in games early in the year. But college football fan loves it that “every game matters” while ignoring the fact that they’ve created a system where games between good teams with losses don’t matter at all except to fans of those teams

Anyway, I’m just blabbering. I’m clearly not a fan, I can’t even watch the sport and haven’t been this winter since I’m not paying $60 a month for ESPN right now.

I'd rather see a larger playoff too. 100%. Having a month to prepare for a game makes no sense. Yes, the Top 4 teams made it and yes, we knew this would be the final. That month though, needs to go.

Damn right. They're getting paid now, make em earn that money. And if I was paying a college kid any endorsement or NIL money or whatever it is, I'd make it a condition of final payment that they goddamn well better play in every bowl game the team plays in. They want to be paid like pros, then they need to act like pros...

That would be fun

ole Dinosaur still likes the one sport where the whole regular season matters and 4 has been the best median between too few and too many. You could add a de facto third round by eliminating CCG losers. That would have sank three All-SEC title games but even I'd be fine with that. Bammer already beat UGa in a championship setting, why should they have to again? The problem with the sport is that the top talent is getting concentrated in a handful of teams within a relatively small geographic region. In the good old days you had a SoCal, Texas, oklahoma/Nebraska, Penn State, Notre Dame, OSU/Mich, along with the SEC powers having top contenders. Now its Bammer and its SEC runnerup, and two others that serve as filler. I don't blame fans in the other 48 states caring less and less.

How can 4 be a median b/w too few and too many? Four is the fewest possible in any playoff scenario. Also, remember what happened to the dinosaurs....
