Yep, makes sense. All of the fish that eat indiscriminately and grow quickly are the ones to watch out for from China (and from Chinese proprietor run restaurants, regardless of the cuisine style).

yet you also have this witness: "According to the site, “Witness 41″ claims she filmed the Michael Brown shooting on her cell phone. The unnamed witness lives not far from where Brown was killed by Officer Darren Wilson. She appeared before the grand jury on October 27, as did her godson.

Apparently, “Witness 41″ didn’t mention anything about taping the shooting that occurred August 9. Everything came out after the grand jury testimony.

When prosecutor Kathi Alizadeh said it’s too bad there weren’t surveillance cameras at the apartment complex, the witness then says she had a video of “the entire thing on her phone.”

The witness added, “But I dropped it in the toilet.”

Alizadeh told “Witness 41″ that forensic experts could still examine her cell phone for crucial evidence, but she claimed the phone was in the “junkyard.” Alizadeh says the witness told her she was “so mad, she threw it away.”

Information given by “Witness 41″ was given to the grand jury after her testimony. The prosecutor told the jury that she could be called back to testify, but she never was. Furthermore, the witness never mentioned the cell phone footage when FBI investigators questioned her about the shooting. She was interviewed by the FBI on August 26 at her home. She described what she saw when Officer Wilson shot 18-year-old Brown. She told them that Brown was on his knees with his hands raised and that Wilson stood over him when he fell to the ground and “just finished him up” by shooting him in the head.

One of the investigators told the witness that he didn’t buy her story. She later told Ferguson grand jurors that she could have “choked” the FBI agent for doubting her. She did change her story somewhat when she said she was behind Brown instead of in front of him when she recorded the shooting.

The reality is that I could represent either Michael Brown or the policeman (and I truly believe that I would win). That's because there are a number of conflicting witnesses, now that most not all of the evidence has been released.

My problem was all of the people that swore one side or the other before they knew the evidence.

(by the way, I believe that the policeman drove up next to Michael Brown and grabbed him his arms a lot more than Michael Brown walking over to a police car and while holding on to cigars grabbed the policeman. It's possible though. Doesn't smell right imo.

brown then dis engaged --was not shot while he was walking away but shot multiple times going forward

some witness heard wilson tell brown to get on the ground

lot of those "witness statements" were over the edge though

"yeah I saw Wilson blindfold brown, let him say some last words then execute him" at least a few witnesses made it sound like that

The prosecutor should be disbarred or sanctioned. Today he said he knew that some of the witnesses were lying including witness 40. It is one of the fundamental wrong things to do for any lawyer to put someone on the stand that they know is lying. It is called suborning perjury. For a prosecutor to knowingly put them before the jury raises many serious flags about this prosecutor. (I was able to drop a client who insisted that he would lie under oath. Thank goodness, by the way)

There are some holes in the theory though that I don't remember the details of but it made me stop looking into it once I read them.

you know - anytime anyone is murdered in cold blood, its a tragedy - however, I have to say - its pretty fucking ballsy for the police association rep to say De Blasio has blood on his hands.

WTF did they expect - the man has an African American teenage son - he's probably all too aware of what a law abiding young black male has to deal with on a daily basis - and watching a man get choked and die on video at the hands of the police and they walk away


I'm sure De Blasio is a better man but if they turned to their back on me when I walked into the hospital, I'd fucking slash their budget until it hurts.

And as I said, while its a tragedy that anyone gets murdered, I'm not sure on the whole its not such a bad thing that cops are looking over their shoulder and are a little more reserved in their approach to the public now.

Way too much arrogance on the part of a few men with a badge and we're overdue for a policy change because of them. There are plenty of good cops - I meet some of them everyday in my home town but just like the stock market - this is sort of a correction in the works right now.

It'll only result in the next confrontation with a young black male being met with disproportionate force by the police. Not good here in Gotham right now. DiBlasio could say a lot about what the PBA and the brass are doing, but he's taking the high road. He's in an unwinnable position.
