They're not mutually exclusive. In fact, quite the contrary in most cases, I'd guess...

The kid 5th from the left. He's the real deal. Hopefully 3rd from the left, and his brother, don't hurt things.

I tend to dismiss summer league banter but everyone - from Kenny Walker to Cousins that has played with Julius Randle says the kid is a beast.

Randle is crazy nice. Everyone knows you have a stud in him (and it cost you Wiggins, most likely). I'm talking more about the guys who you may not know who will have a refreshing impact on the season.

With that said, Randle needs to diversify his offense.

The other kid that will be dominant this year is going to Florida and is named Chris Walker. He's a man among boys who is the last of the guaranteed one-and-dones (Wiggins and Randle being the others). I think Jabari Parker could leave after one year, but will stick around Duke.

I know its a bit early to start basketball talk , but UK was a dysfunctional train wreck last year and because of it, a walk-on - Polson , ended up getting significant and meaningful minutes in the game. If...IF Ryan Harrow wasn't in the fetal position prior to every game and If...IF.. Mays or Goodwin had any kind of ball handling skills, Polson would have never got his ass off the bench unless it was a blowout.

Cal has a Mr. Kentucky Basketball coming in, Dominique Hawkins, and while I don't know much about the guy, I can't understand these fucksticks that are saying Polson is going to be our backup PG over him.

If Polson is our backup PG, then god help us.
