Ostensibly Hoops

working on an engine tonight putting in new rings, I'm zoned in and have been working about 4 hours straight. Putting a cylinder over a piston with fresh rings is a delicate job and I'm just about get the cylinder past the second ring when my wife opens the door from the den into the garage and tells me she is going to bed, I say goodnight and tell her I'm not going to be for awhile because I'm making so much progress with the engine.

She says OK and slams the door which makes me jump and drops the piston down into the crankcase crushing both my thumbs above the first knuckle, so I let out a "GAW! GAW! GAW!" scream more scared than in pain which she hears thru the door, immediately opens the door back up and sees me trying to pull my thumbs out of the engine like a monkey with his hand in a coconut. She is trying to ask me questions to help, like I'm in the mood to play 20 fucking questions right then, so I yell out "SHUT THE DOOR AND GO TO BED!" which results in her slamming the door again.

I quit for the night, soaked my hands in gojo hand cleaner then soaked in the shower. I'm working up the nerve to go into the bedroom now.

ok so I went in there to kiss her but she has some kind of mud mask on so I was like fuck that and came back in here.

Why weird? Did you have a gay encounter there? Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I can see how it might make it weird to watch a video filmed at that spot, esp. if you didn't want anyone to know about it...
