Its certainly not worth it at a school where you win a national championship and then the next year, you get fired (Ed Ogeron.)
Not worth it? You'd ream out a donkey's asshole with your tongue on national TV for 10 mil...
You are right, I would. But I am not ALREADY making $7.5 million the way Kelly is.

True, but the 2020 season was the only complete season he had after winning a national championship. I don't think Ed made it all the way through 2021.

I think that was the wrong call by LSU to let him go.

I don't think Ed was fired either so much as they both agreed to move on.

How do you know Kellys salary at ND?

Why on earth would someone want to leave South Bend and all of its glory to live an hour away from New Orleans, enjoy mild winters, make millions more per year and have gobs of elite talent walking through your door each year without much effort? Gee….

It says there that Kelley is making $7,500,000 as Notre Dame. They could be wrong. I have no idea. But that is where I got his salary.

It's wrong. ND is a private school. They never announce it. Guess is anywhere from 2.9 -5.5 salary.

Yes and no? The schools can/do release their tax filings for some reason(s) I cannot recall. I know that's how the Rat's salary has been tracked at times. Plus, the Catholic church might release said documents as part of standard practice now.

"Kelly signed an extension to his contract in 2020, according to Sports Illustrated, which is currently believed to be set at $2.67 million annually. Since Notre Dame is a private school, the details of his contract are not made public. With the extension, he is expected to coach at Notre Dame until the 2024 season, marking his 15th season in South Bend, Ind. He will be 63 years old when his contract expires."

3-10 lifetime vs. Top 10

Sure salary is part of the total $ package. LSU tripled that. A state school.

#1 Georgia
#2 Michigan
#3 Alabama
#4 Cincinnati
#5 OK State
#6 Notre Dame

So the Cowboys leapfrog Notre Dame and Michigan leap frogs almost everyone. Yeah, I'd say that's right. Michigan is one "ch" away from being 12-0. I agree with the poll.

Of course they may hate it in South Bend. The Georgia-Alabama game gave them real hope. They don't have much hope now. And with Brian Kelly leaving...
