Had my email read on this weeks Sklarbro Country. It was the short one about jury duty. I know, I know, the instinct is for you all to be violently jealous, but try to fight through it and instead bask in the reflected glow of my success.

doesnt hold a candle to getting an editorial printed in the online edition of the Wilson Gazette especially since said paper wants me to pay to read my own work.

You're assuming that State fans in Wilson County have access to anything more than a rotary telephone...

Anybody checked out HBOGo? If you are subscriber you can stream a ton of stuff, including every TV episode of every show theyve ever aired. Also, I think after next week's Game of Thrones episode (Ep 6), they are promoting the platform by allowing you to view Ep 7 immediately after Ep 6 airs.

MGM is started revamping the remake of Red Dawn casting the North Koreans as the villians. They originally had the Chinese but China threw such a fit they feared a backlash. Apparently the story centers around Detroit.

The guy that plays Thor has the role of Patrick Swayzes 'Jed'

Well maybe they thought only the North Koreans would be dumb enough to attack Detroit?

BTW-A group of white U of M students (assuming that is how they tie in "Wolverines" this time) living in Detroit? I knew it was a work of fiction. I didn't know they were going to make it a work of fantasy.

Anyway, I think that flick has been sitting on a shelf for a long ass time. They are going in and actually digitally changing stuff in the film to try to switch it to N. Korea.

Hell, they should have just had the crips and bloods fight the N. Koreans. More believable and highly likely. But then there would be no white boys to headline the movie.
