I just assumed Hedge was talking about my link to NPR's Book of Mormon story.

Yeah, I think I'm going to catch a showing of the play on a random Wednesday afternoon with the wife. I've heard nothing but great things about the production.

Bobby's pretty freakin cool. lots of deadhead tend to look down on him for some reason. i actually wish he'd play more of his own music and less of Jerry's.

wow...there's so much history with the dead....but he seems pretty interested in the technical aspect of the whole thing...perfecting sound.....maybe that's where he's headed..., eh?

How would you rank the 4 "Billys" who were most prominent in the 80s? I think I would go:
1) Billy Idol
2) Billy Ocean
3) Billy Squier
4) Billy Joel
I realize Billy Joel's career was less confined to the 80s than the other three, but his music sucks out loud so that ought to count for something.

Well, that was rather biased.
Granted, I think there are only three songs by Joel that I've ever had even a passing interest in (Big Shot, Pressure and Just The Way You Are--which doesn't even count anymore because so many other people have ruined the shit out of it that I can't even take hearing Joel's version).
Bill Squier, I ain't got a clue.
Bill Idol wasn't on my block. Dudes then nod their heads to his shit. Not on 17th Avenue and 54th Street. Nunh-unh, boy. Especially in the months following the infamous Overtown riots.

Now, Bill Spires, on the other hand, was down by law, even if it was the late 90s, early 00s.
