Look on the bright side - you had TWO 38 yard rushers and an 83 yard passer.

4 hour tailgate (from 8AM to Noon) was great. our punts were great. the rest of the day, sucked.
i am amazed at how many dads there are in this world who can afford to send they skinny little spinner daughters to USC at $50,000 a year, just to earn their MRS degree, so they can dress like whores in the stands on gameday

BC has played well against both FSU and Clemson - they might be able to outlast VT and shoudn't have too much of a problem with the rest of their schedule and could finish 8-4
it was nice seeing BC fans actually at an away game - one has to wonder if they will support a bowl game this year...

That is pretty much what everyone is saying right now. The first 6 games were completely bi-polar for BC. We were very close to FSU and Clemson (didn't get killed in either game) and the three toughest games on the schedule are behind us.
No we wont go 9-3. But 8-4? Yeah, probably. There are 3 or 4 teams over the next 6 weeks that BC will kill.
Honestly. BC is the 5th best team in the ACC (behind Clemson, FSU, VPI and Miami.) Will the fans go to the bowl game? No. It is simply impossible to convince the fans who attended at USC (myself included) and any of them that made it to South Carolina yesterday, that whatever toilet bowl game BC goes to will be worthy of the trip. Not. Going. To. Happen.

he already verballed to BC. ...just a two star, but....

...his uncle wasn't able to do this kind of shit when he was at Natick.
By the by, these are BIG Massachusetts schools, large enrollments. Walpole is typically in the top 100 high school football teams
in the country year after year.
I don't know if we will ever see him line up for BC at anywhere other than wideout, but if he can keep doing this shit...

Rat,
You can't possibly understand what it means to root for a team that has no hope of winning an MNC mostly because Florida has won so many. When you open the season with the absolute certainty that there is NO HOPE you start to grasp at things that make no sense in the world of reality.
To believe that the rivals/scout-2-star nephew of a Heisman Trophy winner will somehow lead BC to the promised land (something his 0-for-4 vs WVa uncle, never did) is to believe in unicorns farting rainbows. I know this. I am a realist. But if I am going to root for BC
what the fuck else am I supposed to do? And don't sass me with a sarcastic answer.

Williams needs another 250 yards rushing to get the BC single season all time rushing record. I don't think he pulls it off vs NCState, but the week after at Maryland should be enough.

You don't think he'll rush for over 250 yards in his next game? Really going out on a limb there, eh, IB?

Well...
...he rushed for 295 yards last Saturday.

I wonder when the last time an ACC running back rushed for 250+ yards in consecutive games. Not saying he can't do it, but just going with the odds, I'd say it's far more likely he won't than that he will. Kinda like the odds that you would make 2 intelligent posts in a row. Of course, we're still waiting for you to make the first one...
