As a Tennessee fan, I was pleased to see 6 former Vols in the Top 100.

It's hard to complain about #2, especially when #1 is the reigning league MVP. If the vote was done again next year, Peyton might be #1. I think he would have been #1 in a lot of other years. The fans voted him #1 this year, BTW (Brady #3).

But let's not forget that, at his current level of production, Peyton will eclipse every QB who has ever played the game in just 4 more seasons. He has already passed everyone except Marino and Favre, who both had many more years to amass their stats. In the next 4 years, at his current level of production, Brady will be approaching the numbers Peyton has right now.

Maybe the Colts will win another Super Bowl, or two, by then. Then the last excuse the Peyton-haters have will be taken away. But I'm confident they'll come up with something else. They always do.

As far as the "best QB" in the league, I'm not sure I wouldn't put Drew Brees ahead of Brady right now. Brees has 5 career 4,000 yard passing seasons, compared to Brady's 3 (same as Phillip Rivers). By way of comparison, Peyton has 11 4k yard seasons.

16 allstars are out of Tuesday's game. Good grief.

Nobody missed the all star game when I was a kid. Now it's on par with the Pro Bowl...players getting the glory without putting in the effort...best of both worlds for these primma donnas.

need some type of incentive for these allstar games. the 16 that are out should have to miss the first week after the allstar break

Nah. Some are legit. Chipper had surgery Saturday. He didn't deserve a spot anyway, but that's beside the point.

They all get bonuses for being nominated, so the only change needed is that you make the players' contract say, "bonus paid for playing in the all-star game." Further, you could redact their names from the record book and not give them credit if they don't/can't play - so, an "8-time all star" may become a "2-time all-star."

I saw a photo of his wife. She's about as "smoking hot" as Doc in tight shorts.
