That would be okay with Cincinnati since Ohio State plays Michigan. You may be exactly right.

KC only 2.5 point favorites at home to Dallas. Will take Dallas

LA Clippers 6.5 point favorites at home to Steelers. Steelers will limp to an 8-8-1 season, but this isn’t one of those wins. Clippers to win by a touchdown or more.

You have to figure KC has some "sleeping giant" in them and I'd maybe look for it to come out today. And 6.5 is too much to lay against the Steelers imo.

I like Saints +2 over the Eagles. And why the hell is GB only favored by 2.5 over the Vikings. I like that one too.

Never mind about the Saints. They are without Winston, their top rusher, top receiver, top sack leader, their kicker, and possibly their backup qb. Eagles should win that with their improved play lately.

This week, Cincinnati (for the first time) is in the top 4 of the playoff poll. That is where they do belong, (thank you Utah.)

Apparently, Fickell's team of local boys have been beating the hell out of everyone because there are 30 seniors on the roster!

Its a whole lot easier to win when your 22 year old young men and whaling the crap out of 19 year old grown boys on a football field. The difference in bone structure and physical power can be dramatic over those three years.

Jeez. You have made an amazing discovery. No one has mentioned that or heard about that prior to this.

I always wondered how they determined who's a freshman, sophomore etc.

Now I know.

I didn't know the team was basically 30 Seniors until he said it. Makes sense. Explains why they are winning.

Just get past South Florida and then Houston. Let the rest take care of itself.

They've been "winning" for quite awhile now IB. You should pay better attention but I understand you lack sports knowledge.

These are all local Cincinnati boys right? Some went to Moeller and other high schools nearby?

I am wondering how many of them had "scholarship offers" from Ohio State? I am wondering if even one of them had a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes?

If none were offered (and ALL wanted to go to C-Bus, all DREAMED of playing in Columbus), imagine the size of the chip on their shoulder if they get into the playoffs and they draw Ohio State in the first round? Imagine the amount of REVENGE they would want to take out against those Ohio State players who were "good enough" and they weren't? I don't think Cincinnati has ever beaten the Buckeyes, ever.

Cincy kids don't dream of going to OSU. That's Cleveland. Ohio State has historically ducked UC. They've only played like 12 times since 1900 and in 02 were a dropped last second td from ruining their NC season. After UC beat them for back to back basketball titles in the 60s. Ohio State is not as big of a deal you think it is here. To many good programs within a 2-3 hour drive from here. Plus, ND is always in town ever since Gerry Faust at Moeller.
