Cincinnati is 6th

https://www.espn.com/college-football/r ... asontype/2

This totally "sucks off" the SEC

1 Georgia
2 Alabama (7-1)
3 Michigan State
4 Oregon (7-1)
5 Ohio State (7-1)
6 Cincinnati (8-0)
7 Michigan (7-1)
8 Oklahoma (9-0)
9 Wake Forest (8-0)

Oklahoma and Wake Forest were completely fucked

rat, eCat,

So it is Wednesday after the first poll that matters. Cincinnati is not in the top 4. Did the blood thirsty shut-ins of Cincinnati call in to radio shows to bitch and scream bloody murder? Or did no one in the local media, notice?

Yeah I kinda figured they would. Your Bearcats were shafted rat.

I still think they control their own destiny for the playoffs though. Ohio State and Michigan State play each other. The one who loses is OUT and your Cats bubble up from 6 to 5. Then Alabama plays Georgia in the SEC championship. Alabama loses they are out and you are in. If Georgia loses, maybe you'll be in.

Rat is a well-documented wearer of jorts. He's a Gator thanks to his grandparents having lived in Florida during his youth and buying him Florida gear, iirc.

'nati is the 5th wheel to the SEC champ, Big10 champ, Oregon and Oklahoma if they win out. One of the latter 2 stub their toe this month or lose their CCG they have a chance

I think the Bearcats go to 5 the Tuesday after the Michigan State-Ohio State game. Because one (or the other) will be out so they bubble up. And they they have to hope against hope that Georgia beats Alabama. They just need to beat Saban and his team by a point. Then Cincinnati should be in.

Wake Forest isn't going to pass them now. Not likely that Oklahoma will either.

Many of the committee folks say they start each week with a blank slate and rank teams based on their full body of work (which is how it should be for any poll). If Oklahoma is 13-0, the committee is not going to care that they were 9th four weeks before. They are okla-freaking-homa which is different than a 13-0 Wake Forest as unlikely as that may be.

Only one game this week:

Bungles are 2.5 point favorites over the Mayfield’s mistake by the lake. They should win by more than that.

Agree there. Also taking Raiders -3 vs Giants and Chargers -1.5 against the Eagles seems like a no brainer.
