Rat, sometimes I know you pretend to be retarded so it makes it difficult to distinguish from when you actually are retarded, but the Taliban was started in the late seventies along with the mujaheddin to fight the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.

You are setting him up for the "liberal" response to say that this was all "our fault" because we armed them and left them once the Soviets left Afghanistan.

I am pre-emptively disassembling the Strawman we all know Rat will erect....

Women probably shouldn't be loading artillery shells into howitzers but they excel at sniping, as pilots, and spotters. They certainly have their place in combat.

Spotting? That surprises me. Men usually do much better at detecting minute movements at a distance. Or so I was told....

Women supposedly have more patience and a higher pain threshold meaning they can stay on station longer. probably more important to be able to watch the first thousand yards for 8 hours at a time than spotting movement 1800 yards away for a couple of hours.

Snark, be gone.

This is a serious topic. Snark is intended to take something indefensible that is serious (like women in certain combat roles) and either obfuscate OR put the entire discussion out of bounds for political correctness. That is what you (Mr Strawman) have attempted. An 8th grader can do the same. I expect that type of snarky behavior of them (or of female writers who can't have a serious conversation about this because it hurts them.)

You want me to start calling you Maureen Dowd?

There will always be nutjobs. I could get over "72, then came Lockerbie, the Beirut barracks bombing, the Nairobi embassy bombing, the USS Cole, the WTC 2 times, Mumbai, The Beslan school siege, girls getting acid thrown in their face for going to school, and I'm just fucking sick of it. Iran is probably the least of the offenders. Saudi Arabia the worst. I said it years ago and I'll say it again. We need to bombard those Islamic fucks with eastern NC style barbque , porn and rock and roll. the one's that don't like it, fuck 'em, roll 'em in pig fat and shoot 'em.

Wow, way to "not respond" to Johnette's Daddy, IB. No better way to "shun" somebody (are you Amish?) than to respond with several sentences letting everyone know that you are shunning/ignoring/not responding to the offending party. LMAO...

Neither of those statements are correct. A well-regulated militia being necessarry to the maintenance of a free state, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. They primarily (not the only reason) were concerned with the protection of the country from the superpowers of the day, France and England, something they rightfully should have been scared of. The purpose of the militia was not to protect the individual from the federal govt. The POTUS is the head of the militia.

Personal opinion...Bovine scatology...
Not really. After all, the primary reason is more likely to be something that is actually written in the Amendment as opposed to something that isn't any where in the Amendment at all.

No, I'm not. I just look at all the writings and not just the ones that fit one point of view. I also know some of the earlier court rulings including Cruikshank and Presser v. Illinois.
