Well you better hope we get away with it, b/c if we don't, college athletics is going to change dramatically. Fans and others rabble-rousers of every school are going to be going over records of every athlete of their rivals (just look at Auggie) and it won't take long to turn up massive "irregularities" in every program at every D1 school in the country...

One could just imagine the numerous smack posts coming from our heel bretheren slamming UK if this scandal had happened in Lexington. Hedge and DS would have worn out a keyboard by now.

Of course I would use any opportunity to sass, but I would never act like I was shocked that, say, Bledsoe got admitted to UK even though he is functionally retarded...

no its not - you guys need to get over this idea you're somehow above it all

your argument is "everyone does it, so we don't understand why the spotlight is on us" - that's horseshit and you know it.

what Bledsoe did at UK is what you should be concerned about - and it wasn't attending fake classes

Was up your way yesterday, e-Cat. Had to attend a funeral in Beaver Creek/Dayton. Must say some of those Buckeye drivers in that town are a bit insensitive towards funeral processions. Almost saw a head on between one of the Buckeye drivers in the procession with another Buckeye on Keowee (sp?) Street who wouldn't stop for the motorcade. The teenage kid in the procession drove into the oncoming lane to make the other guy come to a stop. Don't think I've ever seen anything like that before.....Only in Ohio.

Don't care much for anything Ohio, but will have to give a big thanx to the Ohio State Trooper who could have easily given me a ticket on 68 between Wimington and Mt. Orab. Cruising along at about 62 or better and looked in my mirror and there he was right behind me. Those guys on that road will usually write you for 1 mph over the limit. Of course I immediately slowed and he followed me for about 5 miles... I was waiting the entire time for the lights to come on but they didn't. He turned off on I 73 toward Lebanon. Whew!

LMAO at Hedge. Do you really think that I'm looking at student records? Or that I've put in a single request for records? U*NC was sued to release those records by multiple news sources because they refused to answer very simple questions, and when they did answer questions they lied about it. U*NC was forced to publish those records because they been caught cheating. Period. U*NC could just go ahead and release the requested records and get this over with but they insist on lying, covering up, delaying, and even misdirect by funding a phony investigation.

One of your geniuses on IC tried to pin a phony class on State with that welcome to campus course we offer. Hell you came on here crowing about it. State released the data which made perfect sense, and you guys got to sit there with egg on your faces. $500k plus on pr firms to polish a turd. What a waste.

I'm thinking about buying a piece of property connected to Daniel Boone National Forest. I'm afraid if I keep dragging my feet its going to sell. I can't decide if I'd ever use it being 3 hours away. I want to put a rustic cabin on it with a cistern for running water and a generator for electricity.

yes, my manifesto against Bon Jovi rumors, stick peppermint and old ass strippers

actually the logic is that you buy a small lot of land that backs up to the park and you actually get 5500 acres of land with no threat of development

What county is it located? There are several cabin lots for sale on Cave Run Lake in the DBNF just abaout 20 miles north of me.

Thread on IC:

Best way to fend off the NCAA?

Hire a lead NCAA staffer to head up your compliance office.

BDawsonRivals: Rachel Newman Baker, the NCAA's managing director of enforcement for development and investigations, is joining the UK compliance staff. Rachel Newman Baker's title at Kentucky will be senior associate athletics director for compliance. She begins work on July 8.

Buy it eCat. I bought 4 acres next to the Park in Gatlinburg on a whim in 1992. Got a good price. Sold it for more than 10 times what I paid in 1996.

Or if you don't buy it, give me a link to the real estate listing.
