Real good article by brian windhorst on dime regarding lebrons comments after game 5 where he "went back to my cleveland days" and completely took over as bosh and wade sucked balls. That apparently rubbed 2/3 of the BIG 3 the wrong way

Hibbert

I don't get the controversy on no homo. It's not a gay slur. It's not much different than a "that's what she said" moment. It's a comic device to highlight a pun. Whatever.

I always consider myself extremely progressive, but I don't get the umbrage taken on this one. I also don't think it'll play too much into the game. Shit, Kobe called a ref a faggot back in 2010. It didn't stop that chip from making its way back to Figueroa.

Spurs vs Cavaliers

Spurs vs Pistons

Two of the worse television ratings for NBA finals ever. You think Spurs vs Pacers will be better?

Cracker, please. If the Pacers keep it within 20 tonight and not have Hibbert, West, George, Vogel, One of the team equipment managers, and the ghost of Rick Smits foul out of the game, I will be fucking shocked.

Here is a video of Hibbert's "motherfuckers" comment and then a cut to the TNT studio where Shaq and Barkley are saying they like it. But what strikes me most is how Shaq says something about "fried chicken" and then makes a joke about attacking Kenny Smith. He then says "hold me back, Ernie", to which Ernie replies, although he hesitates a moment before he says it, as if he knows it's borderline, Ernie says "Hold on, now, we're all.. bl.. we're all black friends here." What's up with that? And then after that, Kenny says to Shaq, in apparent reference to his "fried chicken" comment, "Hey Shaq, who is your other sponsor? Kool-Aid?" Of course, I thought it was funny, but in this age of PC, how did those remarks get overlooked?

I get the "no homo" usage, but what's up with "pause"?

PC: homos don't get in trouble for using the term homo or the cigarette term.

Funnier if Barkley had said "Red Kool-Aid".

Same thing. Pause is the older version. I guess it is making its way back.

Mr. Merryweather is as confident as BRM about a Heat victory...

Man, the refs really took that game away from Indy...

they didnt help

they outscored us by 20 at the foul line and fouled out george early in the 4th and saddled hibbert with 3 in the second putting him on the bench. certainly couldnt play defense the way we did the first 6 games because of the foul situation.

but 15 first half turnovers and the crappiest first half all year did them in

I wont watch a second of it.

Indy needs some ballhandlers in a bad way. Take care of the rock!

If Indy had a real PG and Hill came off the bench, they'd be dangerous. They just turned the ball over too much and they didn't start their offense early enough the whole series (season).

Do they have the wherewithal to go after Chris Paul?

I don't think they have the money to do it. Maybe if they were able to trade Granger and resign West for a reasonably low number. The thing is, they don't need great point guard...maybe not even a very, very good point guard. They just need a guy who protects the rock, can play decent defense and is reliable from 3 on a spot up. Actually, Raymond Felton would even be a good pickup. They just need someone who will help settle them down and start the offense. They don't need a jet or a superstar.

Kentucky did not have a point guard.
