you throw in sherpas carrying oxygen tanks and it gets expensive. You notice you don't hear too much about dead Sherpas on the mountain. Those guys can run up and down that thing all day

I saw some show the other week, showed some Everest expedition, basically they left one guy for dead and he came back to life. I'm not kidding, they called him in as dead, had already called his wife and everything, then he rolled over and got up...

I appreciate somebody having fun with death. "Hey, guess what I am? I'm a cactus!"

1. This is ridiculously dope.

2. This is why we need to continue to allow immigration to this country.

3. This can only reach its fullest potential via a public/private initiative. I expect we have the infrastructure here to support that initiative. I hope we do, at least.

4. (for old NBA WXers: I wish bling was still around)

5. Is she hot?

LOL...nah. Even though I did fail an internet "spot the tranny" test that had an all Thai cast of characters. That (and that HBO documentary "Downtown Girls") was enough to make me über skeptical of any overly made up Asian broad.

on a remotely similar subject, I watched a documentary on Netflix . I can't remember the name but it was about "Sin" cities of the 1920's before WWII.

Goddamn, Paris was off the hook in the 20's.

Here you have prohibition going on in America and these bohemians and artists were flocking to Paris. Nude cabaret was all the rage and orgies were the hobby of the nouveau riche. Paris was anything goes.

There were 3 cities that were 20th century babylonia's. Singapore was one of them. I can't remember the 3rd but I think it was Hong Kong.

Singapore hasn't changed much since then, it seems. It's the only place in the world where everyone in the city knows how to point you to the building affectionately known as "Four Floors of Whores."

Darlings--need some advice. I want an all region DVD player that I can plug into the tv or laptop I found this on Amazon but not sure if it comes with the necessary wires and remote or is just the player. can any of you decipher the distructions please. If Augie is around--do you carry them in your store and would there be a store near me that carries them at the same prices as Amazon I found this one but it doesn't say if it comes with the wiring etc.
I don't need blu ray or anything fancy--will put it in one of the spare bedrooms.
